and here is our final character sprite for this episode... who is this shy guy?! i bet he is fun to bully #indiedev #vndev #visualnovel #magicalgirls

a screenshot fom a visual novel featuring two men. One if tall, blonde and wearing a surgeon's attire. He is also smoking and looks gloomy. another is a shorter man with a dark bowl cut, big round glasses, wearing a lab coat and holding tight a clip board. he looks kind of shy and slouches

was too sleepy and too busy today for art tasks, but i still made some progress by finding and implementing some nice BGMs! it's really neat to slowly see (hear?) the vn get its sound~

i keep feeling paranoid about not conveying well enough through my promotional material that MGDS is a DARK magical girl story, so im thinking of making more SpOoPY promotional arts in the future like this lil doodle thing

yuu-chan standing in the darkness. she is smiling, but her eyes look empty. there are blood splatters on her face and clothes. she is slightly bending over, with an index finger against her lips in a "shush" gesture. she has a halo and small angel wings. behind her, more blood splatters can be seen

me: gives my project a very cutesy, shiny and sparkly artstyle also me: man I hope it's clear to people that this is a DARK story and that they won't get disappointed when they actually read the VN

✨Yuu's magical girl transformation is finally revealed!✨ By the way, today is her birthday AND a solar eclipse! VERY fitting! #indiedev #vndev #visualnovel #magicalgirls

A character sheet featuring Yuu in her transformation. Her outfit looks cute and demonic. She has horns, a dark crown and a demon tail. She is wearing a princess-like dress, with one of its skirts resembling bat wings. Next to the image of her is her magic wand which has an equally demonic but cute design.

NAOBOX is a kind of toy box but also a music box. It also defies the laws of physics somewhat since despite its small dimensions it can somehow contain infinite amount of my bullshit

ɴᴀᴏʙᴏx ✨ @naobox.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Fun fact! NAOBOX is not my developer name! I am naoke, while NAOBOX is a doujin circle/studio name and also a collective name for my original narrative projects and concepts

ɴᴀᴏʙᴏx ✨ @naobox.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Apparently there will be a solar eclipse on her birthday too??? Oh my goddddd

ɴᴀᴏʙᴏx ✨ @naobox.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

Btw, in about 2 weeks Yuu-chan will have her birthday! (12 August) I'm planning to prepare something special for the occasion. Look forward to it >:3
