@spillingdown I can't remember where I saw your visitor counter, is this it? If so, I think it might be broken. But I could be wrong. :blobThinkGlare:

@scumsuck How may one join the cool kids club, if applications are open?

After a FAT minute, I finally have my Link/Midna watercolor commission by @scumsuck framed and ready to be admired for years to come. :gaming_heart: I love the frame for this piece. The geometric shapes matches Midna's body art quite well, I believe. (U^U)
A photograph of a framed piece of artwork lying on a wooden floor. The frame has a square/blocky geometric pattern winding all across the frame. It has a light gray background and in the center is a watercolor painting of Link and Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess together as lovers.

OKAY, finally, here is my haul from Q Con of this year. Lots of zines and stickers but also a few books too. I am looking forward to filling out the fan fiction log. 👀
A wide array of zines, stickers, and books from various creators spread out on the floor.

IT’S HEREEEEE!!! Look at this beauty. Now that I can hold this art in my hands, I can stare at the intricacies and textures whenever I want. This is also my first commission that I have a physical copy of, so this calls for a special frame!! […] [Original post on blorbo.social]
A watercolor and ink painting laying on a hardwood floor. The painting shows Midna and Link from the video game Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The couple are holding hands and standing chest to chest, looking at each other with love in their eyes.

See, I saw this thumbnail on YT and I saw an article in passing about this game mentioning gender playing a part, so I got excited and hope the protag was trans maybe... it turned out not to be the case. 😔 Aw, shucks... *kicks rocks*
An edit from the video game Paranorasight: The Mermaid's Curse. Two of the main characters, a boy and a girl, are back-to-back in profile. Each is looking straight ahead and they both look very similar, having straight brown hair and light skin.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that enough journalists are young and online enough to post articles like this nowadays.
A screenshot of an article for Business Insider with the headline "You're laughing. The metaverse is dying, and you're laughing". Above that is a promotional picture Mark Zuckerberg posted of him and his metaverse avatar facing him in his virtual reality.

@scumsuck “Tan” in Japanese media really is fake cuz how is that tan?? But that’s interesting! That foundation chart gives some leeway for what they consider tan skin, but what they consider “deepest” skin is a little light to me. In my experience, dark skin is like these Sudanese women.
A group of south Sudanese woman stand in a line, back to back. Two of the women in the center of the picture look directly at the camera.
