I have been playing Vintage Story with my friends but have only been able to play for 10 minutes at a time, which is not long enough to get anything done or coordinate with anyone. I have taken to switching to creative mode, teleporting far away, and building little […] [Original post on zirk.us]

A screenshot from the block-based videogame, Vintage Story (like minecraft 2, essentially). The scene is of a small cobblestone hut on the edge of a lake, with two fishing polls leaned up against the front wall. The hut is an orange color, with a purple door and a dark grey shingle roof. It is night time and the hut is illuminated by torches flanking the front door.

[Hitler] "You know, with Hitler: the more I learn about that guy the more I don't care for him." -Norm Macdonald #Hitler #Nazis #Norm #NormMacdonald #Comedy #History #References

A screenshot of a thumbnail and caption for a link to an article which suggests that Hitler may have been involved in the death of his niece. In the thumbnail Hitler is relaxing in a chair next to a young woman seated on the ground, presumably his niece. The caption reads:

Hitler's possible role in nieces death under scrutiny after documents raise questions about alibi, report says

A friend went fishing and shared their haul. I was compelled to make this. #Fishing #Fish #Feelings #Meme #HowAreYouFeelingToday

Six close up pictures of fish faces are arranged in two columns, with the text "how are you feeling today?" at the top and bottom. The fish generally look like they are on various states of unhappiness about being caught, though one looks zoned out and another looks excited.

I'm looking at ice cream and Kroger is like "what about these healthier options?" and it's just more ice cream. #Food #Shopping #IceCream #Online #Healthy #Kroger

A phone screenshot of the Kroger website where it suggests different ice cream because it has better nutrition than the ice cream I was looking at. I'm pretty dang sure it doesn't, Kroger.

Sowed native prairie seeds last year and the first flowers have bloomed! Behold: Black Eyed Susan! #Gardening #Prairie #Plants #Nature #Native #Photography #Flowers

A photo of a single Black Eyed Susan flower, sticking up out of the blurry green background. The flower is a strong yellow color with petals about the length and width of your pinky. It has a dark brown cluster of seeds in the middle, in a small dome shape.

With zero explanation, a recent purchase arrived and contained this in the product packaging. I can't get this stupid coin out of my head. #Video #Coin #Rage #Confusion #Perspective

I have been trying to turn a section of my yard into a prairie with minimal effort. I think this is one of the plants I seeded last year, except I have no idea what it is. I just know I've never seen it before. #Plants #Photography #Nature #Gardening #Prairie #Grass #Native #Wild

A picture of a broad-leafed grass in a side-yard. It has big, tightly packed seeds standing straight up. It is only a foot or two high. The background is out-of-focus grass, trees, and fencing.

I made a terrible mistake and now this dog thinks I can get up and play. I am so sorry Mr. Dog, I simply can't. I do apologize for playing with you yesterday, did you not notice how I fell asleep after for the entire afternoon? #Dogs #CFS #Dogsitting #Play

A black labrador holds a tennis ball in his mouth, expecting me to play with him. I am laying on the couch with my arm stretched out, doing my best, but I can't actually get up so we're at an impasse.

Modern smart phones push the limits of their lenses and sensors by taking multiple pictures, blending them together, and adding a crap ton of filters and generative algorithms on top. Usually this works pretty well and improves the quality of the photos. But when it […] [Original post on zirk.us]

A cropped image taken on a cell phone, demonstrating the artificial textures added to the image by the AI processing now prevalent in all modern cell phone pictures. It looks as if severe heat haze had been imitated using a thick-paint spatula form of impressionist painting.

Hello everyone, My CFS means I can't really work, but over the last 8 months I've been slowly designing a Lego model of my house. I realized I can generate a little income with this. If you want me to model your house in Lego, I will send you the bricks you need and […] [Original post on zirk.us]

A Lego model of a suburban, one-story home built on a slight hill with the basement garage exiting out the side. The front yard is mostly grass, but two large trees can be seen in the backyard. The window shades are green and the front door is black. The house sits on a street corner, but only the sidewalk is included.
