I was going over some of the trends/eras of illustration with my students today and Corporate Memphis created the most conversation. It was compared to a business man in a happy face mask, Arial & pop music. Good in contexts like brightening up a train station, bad in masking the cruelness of tech.

50% atm, but i also always have my canvas 2-3 times the size of what i'll ideally be exporting it as lmao honestly the main thing about drawing bigger that really helps with this kinda thing is when you've got more pixels to work with for the same level of detail, you don't need it quite as exact

in a rare show of introspection, xera eventually realizes "obey or you die. actually you know what just die" doesn't really work on taiz and swap tactics to "okay, obey or *they* die. and if you kill yourself you're taking them all with you" to overwhelming success
