Hyuntae has astraphobia, though it's gotten less severe over time. Storms still trigger an abnormal level of anxiety, I'd say, but not the crying-shitting-throwing-up kind (sometimes it was literally that bad when he was young). Now he moreso feels skittish, trembly & scatterbrained when it storms.

Nanase has trouble being restrained or tied up, due to traumatic experiences she had while doing survival sex work. But her panic response could maybe be lessened through repeated neutral/positive (non-sexual) exposure therapy, so that's something her partners will be helping her with over time 🙂‍↕️

A lot of times, when I'm imagining certain yume scenes, I imagine them in Japanese first to get the feeling right (I love Kansai dialect~). English doesn't always convey the nuance, but I think it's fun to write little snippets using both. It's a good translation/vocab exercise haha
