Mine was probably either Vigo from Ghostbusters II or the sphinxes in Neverending Story.

Being fair, they're not as scorched earth as you might think. It's still real easy to find the original posts these blocked replies are to.

I've always meant to watch this one and still somehow never have. I read the book over twenty years ago and meant to see the film in theaters. Just never happened. Maybe I'll watch that this week.

Garf Field, my man. Here's the first one I see upon tabbing back in.

So, I'm with you. Like, those people are garbage misogynists. Callina Liang absolutely looks the part in what is unfortunately going to be an atrocious movie. But if we're being honest, video game Chun-Li also hasn't looked like that for quite a number of years. Here she is from a more recent game.

Thank you. Other than going into further detail about Baroque era art influences, I was saying a lot of this almost verbatim to friends this morning as I was watching the gameplay.

I dunno if this is Bluesky or Witchsky (I assume the latter), but I just got hit with confetti for being the 67th like on a post.

Being the 67th like on a post gives you a little confetti shower.

I feel like I never watch movies anymore. I go months without seeing any and then, some months, I'll watch a couple dozen. Just a very ADHD movie viewer.

Number of films watched total on Letterboxd (1,304) next to number of films watched in 2026 so far (39).

It doesn't make any difference. It was always intended to be a red herring. They're doing it anyway.

His reaction in the back got me.

Oh my god, Royce White? Really? That's when you know we've spent too much time publicly litigating a BS topic like this. It's when Royce White shows up to pick the bones for any scrap of relevance he can find.

NBA failure and professional drama vulture Royce White continuing his legacy of embarrassment.

I unfortunately only think of the piece of trash who owns Golden Nugget, Landry's, and the Houston Rockets.

Time to bring Aya Brea back. With all the Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, etc. remakes around these days, why not give Parasite Eve a revisit? I don't think the combat should change 𝘵𝘰𝘰 much, but you know, maybe modernize some things and give it a budget.

Spent the day traipsing around downtown Houston with friends from out-of-town today. First to an Astros game (they dominated the A's), now a Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy concert.

I've rarely been happier as a Houston Rockets fan than I am right now. These are so goddamn good, man. Who knew this team had it in them to actually do a decent uniform?

The moment they started talking about KD trade rumors a year ago, I was so nervous about this outcome. The entire narrative around this team a year ago was completely different. Now? The chemistry is absolutely shot. It's so exhausting.

I bought Cyberpunk 2077 back when it was new, but somehow never got into it until this past December. Since then, I've put 260+ hours into it, am done with every available quest in the game, and I'm still playing. I don't play single player games this way, but something about this one activated me.
