Called out of work today. After learning I couldn't go back to the doctor for my foot until the end of November I attempted to do a lot of walking to see if I actually could. Turns out no. I really can't be walking on my foot. 3 hours after max advil dose things are still bad.

After failing all 3 Big Fish windows yesterday I caught 2 Big Fish today. That brings my total to 36/46 fish caught. I'm almost done with daily windows and then I can go back to doing other things like grinding tomes to wrap up the last step of my Phantom Weapons or running 50 Forked Tower Magic.

Today was a really good Big Fish day in FF14. I caught both the Triple Threat and the Skyfrond. Both super annoying. Though honestly I think the Skyfrond is worse just because all the mooch saucers disappear as soon as you get your intuition set up and it's just never ending catfish.

CW bugs I can't sleep because it's small flying bug season so I have approximately 20 bites between my arms, legs, and face and I am so fucking itchy. I just want the bugs to go away and leave me alone. Usually small bug season is mid June, but this year it is so late I hoped we skipped it. Nope.

Fishing update: it has been a week and I'm at 28/46 Big Fish caught and 1720/1730 unique fish caught. I *may* have done a Thavnair Route Ocean fishing adventure today to try and get the new minion and failed, but it did boost my unique catches.

I've caught 16 of the 46 Dawntrail Big Fish in the last 2 days. This is why I waited until they were all released to start fishing for them. I know myself. I will just no life fishing until the only ones left are the really rare ones that only have uptime windows once a month or whatever.

The current theory on my foot is internal swelling is causing pressure on the nerve that goes down the foot. They want me to rest it as much as possible, take an anti-inflammatory daily, and if it's still causing issues in a month go back, get an MRI, and discuss possible surgical intervention.
