A fascinating bit of storytelling is happening in the Pokemon Horizons anime right now related to the games. This show has always made it clear that it takes place after the events of the game so when Legendaries that are supposed to be caught by us in the game are shown, why are they there? (1/2)

This episode implies that the trainer (you the player of the game) just let it be free after the events of the story. In this case, Carmine explains how people used to think Ogerpon was an evil Oni but that got cleared up when she found a partner (you in the games). Thats awesome (2/2) #anipoke

By far the movie with the most unique settings ever created! And to think it began lots of Advanceshipping and Aura fics! The greatest to have ever done it. To think this is responsible for Ash getting a Lucario 15 years later and having elements that were drafted into Goh's character arc finale.

A lot of my distaste for Misty is less because she is "mean" to Ash, and more because their dynamic is very unbalanced. Ash is nowhere near as mean to Misty as Misty is to Ash. It would be fine if they were both equally assholes to each other but still friends. That would compelling on its own right

Today, September 9th, marks another anniversary of one of Ash's most impressive feats: winning the Orange League back in 1999.
