“upcoming American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate” has to be one of the top ten phrases most likely to make your penis shrink into itself.

Crash. I didn’t even play it when I first saw it but watched my older brother play it. I eventually plucked up the courage to play myself and since then video games to me = run around as a little guy, jump about, beat enemies, and collect things.

Also for the love of god watch them in release order. None of this chronological BS. Prequels are made with the intention of the audience knowing what happens down the line.

It’s also handy if you had a dad who was a massive marvel nerd and a kid in the 60s/70s so they can fill you in on everything that’s happened in Marvel. Cheers dad.

I’m in the MCU sub and there’s always people asking how to watch the films as they’re new. The best answer is be 14 in 2008 and watch them as they come out. Heart goes out to anyone starting trying to start now.

My real hope is this opens the door to a new traditional 3D Zelda, like how the LA remake led to EoW. I like BOTW and TOTK but just give me a straight forward linear game where I don’t feel stressed all the time that I’m missing something.

Ocarina of Time remake is giving me big “Nintendo hired that man” vibes.

Dumb question but how do you actually get a job as a pilot. Not talking about the training. Like actually applying. Are they listed with other jobs and you just apply or something?

I think there's going to be a Subway Takes board game. Like you have a board which is a little Subway map and each player has to present a take each round and the more people who agree with it the further along the board you get to move before you reach the end.

9 out of 10 times I look up a DIY video on YouTube it’s always a British video. Is this the same for people outside the UK? Is YouTube purposely finding me British people? Is it a coincidence? Or do we just have a stronghold on the DIY market?

There’s this Disney Vlogger my partner and I watch and they make really fun videos. But man the amount of consumerism just blows my mind. The amount of cheap clothing they buy on a regular basis. Plus tat from the parks. I thought we were done with that and had collectively decided it was bad?

AI feels like this virus spreading across the internet, more and more websites I frequently visit are showing signs of infection, with that horrible little star emoji thing cropping up on their pages to let me know that they are too far gone.

Do you think the OOT remake is testing the water with bringing back traditional 3D Zelda? Kind of like how they remade LA and then followed it up with EOW. I could see a similar thing happening here.

Of course there’s a surface level similarity between the US and UK. But beyond that the two countries are so different. The country that felt closest to the UK I’ve been to is actually Sri Lanka. Which kinda makes sense with all the crook stuff we did there.

When I went to St Louis a couple years ago I was genuinely shocked at how unwalkable it was. I’ve visited a lot of countries but the US is always the one I find most alien and strange.

Has anyone coined reformugee yet as the name for people who now vote for Reform? I just think it would really piss them off and it would be great if we could get the ball rolling on that thanks.
