Getting sick with pain and brain fog when you have a list of stuff to get done within a month is somewhat frustrating for real

Nala @ summer work @nalvali.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Hii I've been jumping from place to place this month from holidays, visiting friends and such, but I'm back and about to catch up with the pile of work that has been increasing

I'll try to upload some more of my artfight attacks this year but definitely won't be able to share all! Season ended but now I find myself in August ready to prepare two, most likely three, layout design bigger commissions, and three smaller illustration commissions so I'll be busy for the month :)

finally, my screentone sketchies <33 for ~Lostalyx and @nalvali.bsky.social

a fox boy sits on the edge of a deep hole, covered in mud and dirt. he smiles, feigning innocence. no way could he dig a hole like that with his bare hands.

a pair of portraits, one on the left with a wintery theme, and one on the right with more of an autumny vibe. snow elf and ginkgo dryad <3

another small painterly set <3

a transmasc sits at the side of a pool as he is splashed by a very happie border collie

two characters press their foreheads together one another's eyes. they're sat on soft furniture, fairy lights and sashes strung from the ceiling. there's a window behind them, showing the night sky and the moon.

looser portrait of a character smiling, little stars sparkling around them.

a pirate lady smiles over her shoulder, having been stood watching the sun rise in the sky. she's on a boat, its mast in the foreground

I have no clue where or when I obtained the perspective/foreshortening skills I'm applying to the attack I'm currently drawing, but still, love high and low PoV they are fun to exaggerate proportions! This one has some slight off bits here or there but overall it's looking pretty good imo

ok, I don't think I have any more 3D in me, so here is the OC smoothie I made!!

3D model of a lightning gerbil creature. The render has a funky border overlaid on top of it, with hand-lettered MONTANA and wireframe stamps

A 3D render of an elk-like creature and a caracal-like creature. The elk holds an orb of light, while the caracal brandishes a staff. Hand-lettered text on the borders reads "kiz" and "shin"

render of a little guy popping out of a gift box!

render of an android type character (with heavy bloom effects) floating in front of a code editor, the tab(?) titled "px-3"

My recent artfight attack thumbnails are so funny, there's, left to right: MS Paint art Animated tiny pixel art Textured high contrast BW art Child book-like art My usual lineless art My bright detailed lined art

A series of six art thumbnails each looking a bit different, featuring the faces of the characters - left to right: a tan man with glasses, a purple merfolk, a bearded man in BW, a snow leopard chibi, a faerie with blue hair, and a rabbit anthro.

Don't take me back, cause I will find Find it out as I go go go All the answers on this road This is the huge illustration of my original characters I've been working on for more than a year on-and-off ♥️ #NalaOCs #originalcharacter #OCs

Huge illustration with 140 of my OCs distributed in different sizes for the composition. The most relevant ones are two black cryptids at the top (Kiz, an elk-shaped cryptid with a scarf, and Shin, a chubby feline-shaped cryptid holding a globe). Kiz is looking down at Sky, a blue haired man with glasses around the center to the right. Sky is being kind of hugged by his husband Tesh, while Sky holds a small light in his hands, and looks down more or less in the direction of Adrie. Adrie is the bottom center one, a non-binary character stretching a hand to the viewer and pointing back up to Kiz. The other two relevant characters are the women next to Adrie at the bottom: Ilenne, a white haired woman wearing armor, holding a halberd, and Nayru, a woman with a long black braid, winking and holding a spear. The rest of characters are divided by relevancy, bigger at the bottom, smaller at the top. There's a big variety of mostly humanoid characters, furry characters and a few feral (wolves, and invented species). At the top, in the space left as "sky" there are faint hands to the left of Kiz, and some mysterious creature with a halo to the right of Shin.

On top of artfight I think I've finished my HugeTM OC drawing I've been working on and off fot maybe a year or so! I may share it within this month if I deem it finished :)

Nala @ summer work @nalvali.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

For reference I'm currently trying to both do revenges for current defenses while also doing some of my bookmarks for OCs I have clear composition ideas :) I'd like to do at least two new attacks tomorrow as long as my body is doing fine

Nala @ summer work @nalvali.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I finished and uploaded my six first artfight attacks! I will start sharing tomorrow hopefully and like other years, since there's a chance I draw a huge amount of art, I will probably share my favorites, or a selection

Nala @ summer work @nalvali.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

I could have done one full artfight attack today but no, my monkey brain decided to leave two digital wips at the rough flats stage to sketch 4 new attacks on traditional and now start doing the cleaner sketches for two of those

Sharing older pride arts because I've been a bit down this month - these are my past favorites with some of my main OCs, with whom I share part of my identity ♥️

Art of my OCs Nayru -elf woman with a long black braid- holding the lesbian flag as a cape, and Adrie -half-elf non-binary folk with a braid and ponytail- holding her hand, wearing an ace pin on their vest and a bi flag painted on their cheek.

Pride art of three of my main OCs, the unholy trio: Ray, Ilenne and Val left to right. Ray is a non-binary femme demon wearing a flower crown of the non-binary flag, and holding the lesbian flag. Ilenne has white hair and eyepatch, she has the polyam badge on her shirt and has her hands behind the other two. Val is a blonde man holding the bi flag, wearing a polyam badge too.

Pride OC art of Kiz, one of my older mains, an agender old folk with dark skin and hair tied in braids. They are in a floaty sitting pose holding bluebell flowers, with the aro, ace and non-binary flags behind them.

I would have liked to draw something for pride day but I've been a bit low on energy/motivation to draw in general so I may share an older piece. At least though, I am starting to feel I'm recovering a little bit of my energy, today was a good morning to sketch and recover some hope!

Up on Artfight this year too! And some of my fav attacks I did last year, for ~ravisuals, ~vqniix and ~pamham ♥️ artfight.net/~Abby #Artfight #Artfight2026 #teamcomedy

Artfight comedy template card in browns, oranges and cream, with an icon on top left, main text in white in the middle, and checkboxes to the right (friendly fire, and revenge are ticked). Bottom part is featured characters, with five different icons of OCs (an elf, a demon, a whimsy girl, two cryptids and a furry red panda).

Illustration of a raccoon and a brown bear, both fursonas, eating hot ramen during a 35ºC weather and a text saying: do it for the soup!

A colorful illustration of a clown-like character reaching with her hand towards a red ball on the top left side of the illustration. She's juggling it along a blue and a yellow one.

An illustration of a cute kid character with the wind moving her hair and dress. The frame is of a tarot card saying The Fool on the bottom.

Today is trans day of visibility so happy day to all fellow trans folks! Using this too for those who recently followed me, hi I'm Abby/Nala a nb illustrator :) I would have liked to draw something for today but I couldn't so I'm sharing some older trans OC arts ❤️ #transdayofvisibility #tdov

Personal OC art of Alba, a demon woman with moon shape horns, grey skin, wavy long black and grey hair. Shes holding a moonflower and has art deco inspired background

Personal OC art of Gabriel (they/he) a nonbinary person with long braided white hair, long ears, a pointy nose and dark skin. They have a tired expredsion and a clock behind them.

Personal OC art of Noah, a man with ginger-ish hair braided and tied in a bun, tan skin, point ears and white-gold clothes holding a book. For pride month he has little badges of his flags (gay, ace, trans)

Personal OC art of Sky (he/him, left) and Tesh (they/he, right) leaning on each other with the text happy new year to the left. Sky is a (cis) man with pale skin, long blue hair, glasses and a navy color coat. Tesh is a masc non-binary person with wavy black hair tied in a bun, a little darker skin, black and white clothes.

The Sun and The Moon These two OCs, Valentine and Alba respectively, are quite opposite in all their themes, and yet they are rather similar in personality - kind people seeking to help others through their roles in life

Halfbody of my character Valentine, a man with pointy ears, dark skin, blonde curly hair, holding a sunflower on his hands. He's wearing a light robe and some sort of golden feathery cape. The background is inspired by art nouveau, with circles on the middle part, rounded corners on top and bars at the bottom

Halfbody of my character Alba, a woman with grey skin, dark grey and black hair, and a black eyepatch over her left eye (the one we see as right). She's holding a moonflower up to her face, and she's wearing a purple robe, a navy sash with a pink braided stripe, and a navy scarf. The background is inspired by art deco, with geometric patterns of moons, lines and circles.

Code that shows a card with a background, an icon, text that scrolls and images at the bottom for OC connections

Three sets of artfight 2026 team frames for attack thumbnails. The first one is a pixel type with curtains, a mask and the year.
