From civilian infrastructure in Kyiv to torture, imprisonment, destroyed homes and stolen lives, evidence is being documented and the legal machinery is already moving. My own case has taken four years to reach the European Court of Human Rights. If we succeed, others may have a pathway to follow.

Russians who moved to Latvia during the Soviet era, and their descendents. Same applies in the other Baltics. Some of them left post-dissolution, but it's still a sizeable minority.

Still it is surprising that those ethnic Russians have not learned from what happened in Ukraine (and elsewhere). They should know voting for such parties increases the chance of Russian involvement, which leads to destruction of their own homes.
