When you're doing a speedrun in a language you do not speak and you encounter something new, you spend the rest of the run thinking about what it could possibly say... The game really hit me with a curve ball on this one lol

Am I allowed to feel emotional over speedrunning a videogame?

Announcement time! Doing the very first Sonic Lost World 100% run next sunday! More details in the image below!

Announcement time! I've been teasing it for too long now, but the Sonic Lost World 100% route is done and it's about time we put it to the test!

Here's the plan: I want to do the first run for my birthday stream. However, since my birthday is on a monday and I've garnered an audience of terminally employed people, I'm gonna do it a day early on Sunday September 13th, exactly 1 week from today! I fully expect it to be a long one, so I'm starting in the afternoon, maybe like 2 or 3 pm central european time.

This first run is essentially a route test with minimal practice, just kinda seeing how the route holds up for anyone that has an amount of experience running the game and wants to do a 1 and done for the category. After that I'm going to put in some serious practice (while finally indulging myself with a Denshattack casual playthrough lol) before doing more attempts!

Hope to see y'all next week! I for one am looking forward to it :)

This was a legit public (thankfully rejected) suggestion made in the Super Mario 3D World server & I'm sorry but this is the most elitist and horrible take I've ever heard! GDQ and ESA are public submission events so making so only the top 6 runners can submit is crazy! (1/4)
