Falcom kinda does this sometimes where a game is actually half a game 🥴 See Ys 1 and 2 as a similar thing SC also tells a full story after it’s done and you can quit there if you want

I will say, if the ending didn't immediately make you want to play more its probably just not for you and that's ok! fwiw I also don't really like FC that much but SC is probably in my top 5 favorite JRPGs ever, FC is basically half a game and SC is where it capitalizes on basically everything

If not for the enemy design in that game I think there’s a pretty good game underneath but I think it’s actually just the worst mainline RE 🥴 At least 6 is funny

I definitely did at least a few sub stories and some mini games in each of the games but this is what I have off the list on steam since I played some on console Y0: 80 hours Kiwami 2: 46 hours Y4 49 hours Y5 77 hours Y6 27 hours Y7 82 hours The games are generally pretty long 🥴

Nabibi @nabibi.tempeststream.co · 12/02/2026

Wouldn’t blame you, it’s usually more than double that for most of the games

100

Nabibi @nabibi.tempeststream.co · 11/02/2026

I think the games are worth playing but I also think the gameplay is just ok in every last one of them maybe with the exception of 0 and Kiwami 2 Story generally slaps between most of them but im also a known Kiwami 1 hater

Nabibi @nabibi.tempeststream.co · 11/02/2026

I like the series a lot but I think that’s just the entire series in a nutshell, after the first few games I played I mainlined the story in most of them for the most part and had a considerably better time

Trust when I say when you’ve seen all the endings the game only gets better, prob my goty
