Oh this is a good question. First I made a sheet to find the right number but in the end it was a lot of play testing to make it feel right. Quicker level ups at the start of the game and slowing it down as you make more progress was the way to go for me.

Each year, I track the the health of the games industry by the one true objective metric available: how big is the Gamescom tractor? I'm afraid it's bad news this year After a notable increase from '24 to '25 (see quotes), the 2026 tractor is back to 2024 sizes, indicating an industry in decline
