修了展沢山のお客様ご覧いただきありがとうございました。塵芥漁象図/RUIN 自然界の過酷な環境の中、日々懸命に生きる象たち。そこにさらに追い討ちをかけ脅かしているのが環境破壊。象たちは、生きるために必死で、塵をも食す。このままではいずれも「一寸先は闇」でしかない。スリランカでゴミを食べて死んでる象がいる事、死体を解剖すると中からたくさんのゴミが出てきたという記事が去年2023年の夏にあったことが背景になっています。今元気な象もいづれこうなるかもしれない、今の現代の問題の危機を表現したと共にこういった状態が少しでも無くなる世の中であって欲しいという願いを込めた作品でもあります。
