If you'll forgive me, seeing a final fantasy character holding a fist towards the camera can never remind me of anything but

An screenshot of Jack Garland, the main character of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, holding a fist forward, where the point of view of the image is. Text is superimposed on top of this that says "l am doing a CHAOS check in. showing support for one another. I need SIX jacks to post, not share, this message to show you are always there to kill chaos if someone needs it. let's go gentlemen..."

As a result, she's both nearsighted *and* farsighted to a degree, requiring her to wear reading glasses when on SMN/SCH, and magnifiers when on BRD. She also wears 'em for mining, though they're not suuuuuper mandatory there. #wolaotd [NaaStB] #4.0spoilers

Naa Mi'elle, a blue-skinned, blue-haired female Raen Au Ra.

Namielle, the Elder Dragon from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Naa Mi'elle was named after in the first place- a primarily blue, colourful and luminescent dragon with a variety of design elements inspired by manta rays, jellyfish, and other deep-sea creatures.

[NaaSideEW] #6.0spoilers NAA GET CRIT SAVAGE CLEAR!!!! This happened a bit ago but I totally forgot to actually finish a post about it- thanks so much to @legend0ftacohat.bsky.social, @pheeshadaptives.bsky.social, and @hornyburb.bsky.social (nsfw warning) for letting me drag you through this! 💙

A clear celebration picture featuring the WoLs of the three players mentioned above, as well as Naa Mi'elle, posing at the exit portal area from Aloalo Island's twelfth route to celebrate their Another Aloalo Island (Savage) clear.

From left to right, they are a male Helion Hrothgar Sage doing their job's /cpose, a male Dunesfolk Lalafellin Black Mage late into Triplecast's animation, a female Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te Samurai (though you can't really see any evidence of the job) /hug-ing the golden coelacanth Matsya catches at the end of the aforementioned route as if this were a fishing trip picture and it was her catch, and Naa the account owner's female Raen Au Ra, currently on Paladin, using /showright to present and add sparkles to the prior party member's supposed catch.

The "DUTY COMPLETE" text is placed in the top left of the image, alongside an "Aloalo Island" location display- and the bottom left features a set of four stickers representing the players: a Fat Chocobo, the Baby Raptor minion, a Shoebill, and the Baby Opo-Opo minion.

Behold, the game that caused me to ever get into this rabbit hole in the first place

An iPhone Lock Screen featuring the "Thank You For Playing!" screen from Dragalia Lost. Five dragons and a wide variety of humanoid characters from the game are seen waving at the viewer in the art. (Notably, the blue dragon in the top right, Mercury, is a partial inspiration for Naa as a character!)

Edengrace Rod (dyed Ink Blue)
Diamond Hat of Casting (dyed Kobold Brown)
Edengrace Jacket of Casting (dyed Kobold Brown)
Appointed Gloves (dyed Ink Blue in slot 1, undyed in slot 2)

A filled in "WoL Inspo Chart" image template, displaying an image of Naa Mi'elle, a female Raen Au Ra with dark blue hair and blue skin, and six characters that "helped inspire/continue to inspire" who she is. The six characters are:
-Yukimura, from Dragalia Lost
-Lanturn, from Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions
-Namielle, from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
-Mercury, from Dragalia Lost
-Rosalia, from Bloons TD 6
-Driblee, from Kirby Star Allies

True! I also have a soft spot for High Mercury because of the "Queen of the Blue Seas" wyrmprint's initial appearance, though. It's so pretty...

An image of an item from Dragalia Lost, known as a "Wyrmprint"- which, in the game's lore, are a moment in time from any possible past, present, or future, captured in picture form.

The wyrmprint shown is called "Queen of the Blue Seas", and features one of the game's "Greatwyrms", Mercury, in her High Greatwyrm form, swimming through a coral reef while surrounded by a wide variety of different fish, as well as dolphins. Light trickles down onto the scene from the surface above, sparkling off of the dragon's scales in the process.

A cropped GPose of Naa Mi'elle, a female Au Ra of the Raen clan with dark blue hair given pink highlights, blue skin, and purple eyes.

The image is cropped to primarily only show her head and one shoulder as she looks to the right and somewhat down- complete with a smile for the viewer, and a sunset-coloured sky behind her.

She can be seen equippped with an Omega Circlet of Striking (dyed lavender purple), a Kudzu Tunic of Striking (dyed iris purple, and Menphina's Earring.

The Sea of Clouds is a great place to let one's mind wander... and Cloudstone miners certainly need moments of tranquility between moments of hanging from ropes while hundreds of yalms away from the ground below. #FFXIV #GPose #3.0spoiler [NaaHW]

A GPose of Naa Mi'elle, a dark blue-haired, blue-skinned female Au Ra of the light-scaled Raen clan, looking down and to her right to smile at the viewer. Naa is equipped with her default outfit, holding her tonfas at her sides in Monk's /cpose position. The pieces of this "default outfit" seen here consist of Samsara (dyed Iris Purple), an Omega Circlet of Striking (dyed Lavender Purple), a Kudzu Tunic of Striking (dyed Iris Purple), a pair of Nomad's Armlets of Striking, a Panthean Hose of Striking (undyed), Menphina's Earring, and a Pugilist's Ring.

A GPose screenshot rotated 90 degrees to serve as a portrait-format image, focused on a glamour being worn by Naa Mi'elle, a blue-skinned-and-haired Au Ra in the middle of using the /huzzah emote. The glamour consists of the Red-feathered Flat Hat (dyed charcoal grey), the Sarcenet Work Shirt of Gathering (undyed), and the Ironworks Engineer's Gloves/Slops/Boots. A Skybuilders' Round Knife can also be seen in Naa's hand, but isn't meant to nessecarily be part of the look.

(Starlight Celebration 2024 Spoilers!) Took some pictures with a friend's WoL at the new event area! Probably my favourite seasonal event ever thanks to sheer vibes alone

A GPose screenshot of Final Fantasy XIV's venue for this year's "Starlight Celebration" event, taken in front of the largest tree in the area, which is lit up and decorated with all sorts of Christmas tree-esque ornaments and garlands. Featured in the picture are Naa Mi'elle, a blue-skinned, dark blue-haired Female Raen Au Ra enjoying a heart-shaped chocolate, and a Male Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te with blue skin and white hair standing next to her with hands raised to either side in excitement.

This screenshot has been rotated 90 degrees to display well on vertical screens, and features the pair of characters near the bottom while the vast majority of the screen space is spent emphasizing just how large the tree directly behind them is- the environment past it is just barely visible in the top corners of the image.

(Everything up until "this screenshot has been rotated" in the first image's alt text also applies to this image.)

This screenshot primarily features the pair of mentioned characters, albeit with the camera off to the side rather than head-on, and the pair themselves somewhat to the right of the center. Behind them is a figurative mountain of toys, treats, fake snowmen, and season-appropriate decorations, laid out just in front of the tree from the prior image.

(Everything up until "features the pair of characters near the bottom" in the first image's alt text also applies to this image.)

This screenshot's camera is off to the side like the second image's was, but the formatting means the pair of characters takes up far more of the screen space, focusing the shot entirely on them this time.
