I could and have taken SEPTA to my job in strawberry mansion but it’s a 20 min drive vs. 90 on 3 buses. I’m usually driving around different locations in Philly but when I’m staying in one place and it’s only one bus I take it. Sucks when it doesn’t show up, and when it’s too crowded to sit.

The flipside of this is the conservative tactic of dressing hateful ideology in polite aesthetics. It’s a way to normalize hate, to conflate real civil debate with courtesy and hide behind it. The current Red Sox is a result of emulating the Rays rather than the Dodgers. A steady stream of young cheap talent replaces big money on generational players. It’s why we lost mookie, Xander, Chris sale, devers. Rays have zero rings btw; just like moneyball it doesn’t work in the postseason.
