Resident Evil: Damnation is peak Leon and every iteration afterward is a downgrade. His chemistry with Buddy is among the best in the entire franchise, just behind his dynamics with Claire Redfield and Ada Wong. #ResidentEvil

Silly me, how could I forget the Resident Evil spin-off title, Resident Evil: The Last of Us.. Released in 2013, the game followed new characters Joel and Ellie in 2033, 7 years after RE9. It must be an RE game since you can search for ammo and get better guns as you progress! #ResidentEvil

Carlos Oliveira is the one character who needs to return to the Resident Evil series post-Requiem the most. Capcom needs to start bringing back characters we haven't seen in a while instead of using the same ones over and over. #ResidentEvil #CarlosOliveira

I'm going to be honest, I'm just not a fan of the inclusion of human mercenaries in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. I feel like they aren't going to add much to the game that will meaningfully elevate the overall experience. They are there just as extra fodder and nothing else.

If RE is ever to receive an anime series, it should be set within the game's canon sometime after the RC destruction incident and the fall of the Umbrella Corporation. It needs to be a villains' story with an all-original cast, drawing inspiration from Black Lagoon & Jormungand.

The zombie children overwhelming and mauling Terri Morales in 2004’s Resident Evil: Apocalypse remains the best sequence to come from the film and one of the most chilling, unnerving moments in the entire franchise, proving that even children are not exempt from a viral outbreak. #ResidentEvil

I watched Paul W.S. Anderson's 2002 Resident Evil movie again last night for the first time in 10 years and it still holds up as the best live-action Resident Evil adaptation to date. This is the only live-action RE movie worth revisiting because the rest aren't very good. #ResidentEvil

I didn't think it was possible, but Zach Cregger has hands-down created the worst Resident Evil protagonist in the franchise with Bryan Hodukavich and it's not even close. #ResidentEvil

000

N7Necromorph @n7necromorph.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Zach Cregger's Resident Evil doesn't capture the essence of the RE gameplay experience whatsoever in this movie. I hate to break it to you, but survival horror, resource management and exploration has been a staple gameplay experience for the survival horror genre for years. #ResidentEvil

010

N7Necromorph @n7necromorph.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

The only positives from Zach Cregger's Resident Evil are the cinematography and that it has the best horror out of all the live-action films. Outside of a few key-jangling easter eggs and references, nothing about this movie remotely resembles or screams Resident Evil. 4/10 #ResidentEvil

After watching Zach Cregger's Resident Evil, nothing has changed. The Resident Evil live-action adaptation curse continues because Paul W.S. Anderson's 2002 Resident Evil movie still remains the best Resident Evil live-action adaptation to date. #ResidentEvil

N7Necromorph @n7necromorph.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Resident Evil's 30th Anniversary has been so underwhelming. RE9 was nothing more than cheap nostalgia bait with callbacks to previous titles instead of doing anything new that progresses the overall story and a new RE live-action movie that doesn't remotely resemble RE. #ResidentEvil

I would love a Resident Evil CGI movie, animated film or anime series featuring Claire Redfield's best friend, Elza Walker and Leon S. Kennedy's best friend, Ark Thompson, set on Tomogashima Island, just off the coast of Wakayama, Japan. #ResidentEvil

If we get a 10th live-action Resident Evil after Cregger's failed adaptation, I want either a 1:1 adaptation of the games or an original story that is canon to the games because non-canon alternative timelines simply don't work. We have had 9 attempts and they have all failed. #ResidentEvil

The 2006 Silent Hill movie may have taken liberties and changed the lore, but it kept the iconic fog, the rusty aesthetic and the exact mood of the town—unlike Zach Cregger covering everything in heavy snowfall in RC and featuring zombies with tentacles coming from their mouths. #SilentHill

This isn't going to ruin my experience with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, but I want to know why developers always find a way to add unnecessary stuff to Remakes and Reimaginings of original titles. Sticking with medicinal plants would have sufficed because this is dumb. #TombRaider

Resident Evil: Requiem story expansion might revisit the iconic spencer mansion. The same spencer mansion that blew up in the finale of the original Resident Evil and the 2002 Remake. Capcom are creatively bankrupt if this ends up being Requiem's story expansion.

The Resident Evil series is genuinely cooked after the release of the Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake. I just don't see the series thriving in a digital-only future where you won't even own any of the RE games you buy and they can just be taken away from you at anytime. #ResidentEvil

I'm fearful for RE 10 and TR: Catalyst after news that PlayStation will stop physical disc production. As much as fans love both series, I don't think they'll go out of their way to pay for something they won't own and can be taken away from them at any time without any warning.

One major change I want in the RE: Code Veronica Remake is for Capcom not to make Claire Redfield a damsel in distress like in the original, Claire was captured a total of 4 times and saved 6 times, 3 times by Steve and 3 times by Chris. I don't want any of that in the Remake. #ResidentEvil
