Kind-hearted characters with disproportionately big weapons are my jam 🍓 MMF: www.myminifactory.com/users/Awkwar... Cults: cults3d.com/en/users/Awk... #miniatures #miniaturepainting #DnD #DnDart #TTRPG #paintingminis #resinprinting #noai #daggerheart

On a teal background, a print of a 3d model depicting a ttrpg character: a cutsie gnome cleric with a war hammer. Her shield, weapon, and armor have flowery motifs in the design, and she's wearing a frilly skirt.

Some kind of orange moon. #PixelArt #Pixelorama

Pixelart drawing shows orbital rocket launch pads, rockets scattered on the horizon some are in liftoff stage, two moons and a massive gas giant occupy the orange sky, to the bottom right a tiny character figure can be seen looking at the rockets.

I, too, would do my best if a 1000 year old Vampire commissioned me something.

In some videogames with no player character options, you get to actually have a character (Serious Sam). In some, you get a blank slate with pronouns (FEAR). To an extent, I can accept it if the game is old. . . . This post is about Mechwarrior 5.

First attempt at sculpting mechs. Intended to represent Battletech's Brigand. About the size of a 28mm person, but definitely a giant robot. #miniatures #battletech

A person-shaped mech, with rounder body shapes and more angular plates on the limbs.
There is no separate head, but there is a bump resembling one.

View from the back.
Some engine-shaped protrusions.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

We as a society, do not put people in prisons anyway - the government does "on our behalf". Personal judgment of character happens independently from each person, as long as it's not a harassment campaign. Nobody is entitled to our affection, least of all someone who tricked us into trusting him.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Sukhoi Su-37 Terminator or Flanker-F whatever it identifies as 🥰 cant wait to crash this girl doing mach 2 through a tunnel in #AceCombat #pixelart

overcast scene with a Sukhoi Su-37 flying with afterburners from right to left, it's banking so the top of the plane is facing the camera. It has a gray paintjob with a very subtle camo pattern, the wings and tail has yellow ends with red marking similar to Skin 7 in Ace Combat 7.
A missile is seen far behind the plane with it and other missiles leaving trails that cut across the gray sky.

If you want to glue something to it, for example.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Just in case you may need to know - it's probably ABS plastic and is therefore soluble in acetone.

The deck looks like corrugated cardboard, but there's a lot of noise and the walls are covered in plaster. I can also recognize plastic gardening grate (on the right end, and *possibly* in some parts of the deck).

Another 6mm vehicle - light aerospace fighter in the official colors of 1st Canopian Lancers. Made out of: gunpla part (G-Witch something), a vent, and some plastic rods and sheets. #miniatures #battletech

A green flying vehicle with short wings.
Its front is darker and more bluish.

The same flyer, side by side with a purple mech. They are roughly the same size.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

That's the silliest pose I've seen in a while.

(which is why I don't play RPGs 🥲) But this is better than nothing.

Can you be certain that this would still occur have you not had the couch then and there? See? It all makes sense.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

That is actually not the case - the artist explained in an interview that this design element was intended as a "cock-pit" joke. 🙂

Also it's more of an EMU with a side of mecha than a spacecraft. Side note, here's an earlier, and much more serious version of the idea I did a while back (six years ago).

Continuing with scratchbuilt vehicles - conventional fighter. #miniatures #battletech

A modern military jet, from above (with vapor streams along its nose).
It is painted in blue camouflage, with a section of right wing painted red.
Its vertical tail fins are painted red and blue. There is a small black emblem on its left wing, in the form of a card suit spade.

View from a side, along with a mech and a hoverboat.
It is slightly larger than the mech.
There is a ruined building on its base.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I don't know who they are either, but they are clearly practicing nuclear bomb safety measures.

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

As you can see, the fighter is *very* conventional. (the nose is made of a wooden brush, and the wings/fins are made following an actual reference)

Back to 6mm scale - light hovercraft for Battletech, largely scratchbuilt. #miniatures

A small, angular vehicle with the black hovercraft "skirt" at the bottom.
It is dull grey, with a couple bright spots - red and blue vertical stripes with a white bird over them, and a bit of purple on the crewmate poking out from the top.
A life ring is hanging on the side.

View from the other side, a bit blurry.
There is a door here.

View from the back, showing the propellers.
(the propellers themselves aren't modelled, implying transparency during use)

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.

A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

Your "models" require thousands of repeated explanations before they start identifying *anything* with a chance of success.

000

Sasha @n13e86.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

There are very basic tasks that LLMs can not perform at the level of a 5 year old. For example, if I show a 5 year old (who has never seen a tree) a simple drawing of a tree, this child will never mistake it for a fire hydrant - and will be able to reliably identify trees of other shapes and colors.

And, another model inspired by @lettuces.bsky.social drawing. The base size is 40mm, the human is average height, and the limbs are mostly sculpted. #miniaturepainting #cyberpunk #kitbash #miniaturesculpting

A tall, ramshackle robot standing next to a human person.
The robot is two or more times taller.
Colours - blue-grey, black, and some bright pink accents.

From the back.
The human has pink accents on their jacket.

Side view.
Some parts of the robot have black-and-yellow hazard stripes.

Yet another view.
The left thigh of the robot is covered in a piece of fabric(?), strapped to it with two striped belts.
