As a WA resident, I adore mail voting. The detailed pamphlet with all officially filed info (the number of candidates not bothering to fill out background is astounding) and factual explanations of referenda is helpful. You can research candidates at home as you vote. This should be the standard.

This is why people live in NYC, isn’t it? My nearest “decent” dinner restaurant in rural WA is a 25 minute drive. They are always packed. No reservations. Amazing non-chain donuts can be found 35 minutes away across a toll bridge. No brunch spots anywhere. :/ Enjoy your dinner. 🥹
