Good that this is fixed but you guys need to work on your security update timing. There's a reason Drupal does security updates on a Wednesday - finding out about this after we've finished for the week on a Friday is not ideal!

I understand the need to generate revenue by having hosted tools - but also do wonder whether this type of ecosystem fracturing is actually a good thing in general for the long term longevity of these tools. Food for thought.

I find this interesting that we now have 3 separate tools for application monitoring within the Laravel ecosystem. There's not really a good feature matrix or breakdown other than this bit of blog post. Laravel team/website could do a better job of this messaging.

My feed does have a lot of ICE but also has a lot of bunnies(!?) and a lot of sunsets. I think it needs some work.

More likely would be human engineering of the right people with access. Money can turn people and keep people quiet.

Sorry but this is clearly misinformation since starlinks are just glorified network switches and have no way to inspect encrypted packets of data. If you are suggesting the encryption that runs the entire internet has been cracked then we would know about it very quickly.

Hot Take: PHP does not need any more operators. 99% of Devs have probably never used most of the operators it already has.

A) No idea why anyone would ever use Wordpress for any new development at this point techcrunch.com/2025/01/10/a... B) Finally some details on the thing I assumed was at the heart of all this

1. Requests with hidden slow curl requests to external APIs (Google fonts API etc.) 2. Forgetting to cache blade icons 3. Missing a DB index

Oh and I hope everyone is comfortable with sending a random translation service people's login information, credit card details etc. How stuff like this is just accepted in Wordpress ecosystem boggles my mind.

The GTranslate WP plugin ships with it's own root cert?? I guess so they don't need to bother paying for valid certs for their own servers? 🚩🚩🚩

I love #Drupal but you guys really gotta start leading with way with D7 -> D11 migrations. The Drupal.org website running on D7 still is really not a good look. Will you continue with plans to discontinue it while you're still using it yourself @drupalassociation.bsky.social ?
