A landscape of lake Maridal, with the water reflecting the cloudy skies above, and a small island with a few trees in the middle. Woody hills and scattered houses can be seen in the distance behind the lake.

W00T In #DuckDB 1.2.1 you can just do: ```bash $ duckdb -ui ``` to get this !
The image showcases the DuckDB UI in a web-based notebook environment. On the left panel, there’s a hierarchical menu displaying a notebook titled “DuckDB UI basics” along with attached databases named “memory”, “main”, and “trains” (which contains 38,000 rows).

In the central section, a query editor contains an SQL query:

```sql
FROM trains;
```

Below the editor, a Query results table is displayed, listing multiple rows with columns such as service_id, date, type, train_number, station_code, station_name, and departure_time. The values in the table include train details like Intercity and Nightjet train types, station codes (RTD, DT, GV, etc.), and timestamps for departures.

On the right panel, a Column Diagnostics section provides visual insights into the dataset, including bar charts showing the distribution of train types (Sprinter, Intercity, Nightjet, etc.) and other fields. A line chart at the bottom right visualizes trends over time, indicating data distribution for the departure_time column.

The top-right corner features a “Sign in to MotherDuck” button, suggesting that the interface integrates with the cloud-based DuckDB service.
