In my case, the lack of good UX was actually a validation that I am solving the right problem. People were using it despite of terrible UX, because it was crucial for them.

Don't define your target customers. Just don't! Do this instead 👇 BE your target customer OR Have them around you all the time. LOOKING/DEFINING your target customer implies you don't know who it is. ➡️ The product is a failure in your hands. Leave it.
