my birthday is on sun and i'm dreading it so bad. that was the day we found out i still had sepsis. one of my worst days in the hospital - i was so excited about getting a special breakfast for my bday and the nurse said i need emergency surgery and literally took the fork out of my mouth lmaoooo

today marks the one year anniversary of The Incident, where doctors said i only have a 50% chance of surviving emergency surgery it also marks the two month anniversary of me getting transported to ER via ambulance for ANOTHER surgery now i have a clean bill of health & bad news for my haters:

ended up having to cancel EMDR yesterday bc my body has been freaking out (insomnia, nonstop high heart rate) when i texted my therapist to let her know, she said "this is what i meant when i told u it's going to get worse before it gets better" 😵‍💫 starting to calm down now though thankfully 🙏🏼
