I mean truly think of all of the art that would be lost if it went down. All of the artists who aren't with us anymore who's art could be washed away. There truly isn't anything else quite like it inside of the fandom and it is our space, not for advertisers, not for corpos.

gofund.me/8797c9e33 Even tho this is fully funded we should continue to throw money at it. While I don't always fully agree with FA I do know that many online spaces are becoming more pressured to not allow NSFW artwork and this will not stop anytime soon. #furry

Just the rules of our venue, they are very strict about not having cash bills exchanged. (Weird rule but can't do anything about it)

The final Confurence East (1996).... Says it wasn't the last furry con to be in Cleveland Ohio, they weren't wrong BUT it did take 30 years for another one. furrestcity.org #furry #furrycon #FurrestCity2026 #FCY2026 Source: confurence.com/1996/11/conf...

An old snippet from a 1996 con book that says " Welcome to the final Confurence East. Though certainly not the last anthropomorphic convention to be held in Cleveland, Ohio...."

Yep, people just don't understand all that goes into hosting any sort of event.

010

☽ Mythic ☾ @mythronaut.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

It's almost like people want fandom run events to fail.

010

☽ Mythic ☾ @mythronaut.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I feel like people forget people running cons are also furries and they don't make the decisions they do to "make the con harder for people". Venues have rules that con staff have to work around. I see an uprise in people complaining about things con staff have no control over. #furry
