Yggdra union pities itself when you game overed and retry right there on the game over screen instead of going back to the title screen and reload. Enemies will have their stats lowered, they will give medallions (basically potion for morale) and you kept your previous attempt lvl and exp

You heal via item consuming (i doubt it you find a lot without guides though) level ups and... Refreshments. Also for undeploying units, but yggdra is forced though so this is irrelevant

It's definitely the best version of the game alongside with riviera on pc. Lots of QoL that just hard for me to play the previous versions like... Unequip items, faster speed up for battles, and disable critical hits (my favorite)

it's pretty normal for someone to overuse milanor because of his good starting stats and him getting MVPs endlessly. babysitting for MVPs and feeding stat boosters to other units is what makes milanor feel rather basic. even then on my current run (which is the same as those screen shot) he's okay

i've been reminded by how much i play this game to the point i managed to casually get this much stat only a few maps after yggdra is gone due to MVPs and stat boosters, with milanor genuinely feeling weak which is unusual

It always strike as oddity for the stat part, the more big stars units have, the less small stars they need for the next one. Every time i pick a card, i win on most of my turns and i mostly expect to lose on the enemy turns due to disadvantage or... Just bs rng and take the L even on hard

Yeah none of them are item locked... But one ending is locked behind on hard difficulty (that said ending has one extra battlefield to boot) it's technically a little same as one of the ending but with more added context (not irrelevant to the series though)
