My mom keep random things she never uses in the end. I stole her wooden cheese box for a quick pyrography project. (I know she will use it now)

With all this discourse about Japan Expo on Twitter, here is a little reminder from last year.

I was woken up by my cat vomiting. He was showing signs of heatstroke. Fortunately, the balcony is relatively cool early in the morning. We managed to rehydrate him and bring his temperature down.

My cat Timmy lying on the balcony among various potted plants. He is resting against a cooling pad covered with a ice pack and a towel. There is a small white bowl filled with fresh water in front of him.

Rien à battre de Japan Expo si ce n'est les goodies exclusifs de l'étranger de la plage 😭

I'm sick because the air is too dry. If I want to be able to breath, I have to take hot showers or put my face over a bowl of hot water IN THE MIDDLE OF A FREAKING HEATWAVE 💀

For this summer, I planned a serie of craft projects to get creative outside of work. Here is the first!

Before picture: a photo of a Vinted listing for a small chest of drawers. This piece of furniture is made of a light-coloured wood and it has small round knobs and feet.

After picture: The feet and the knobs have been removed. The wood has a now a warmer and darker tone. Handles and corners decorations have been added. This piece of furniture look like a Tansu, a Japanese small chest of drawers.

There’s a power cut across my whole neighbourhood 😭 And the worst part is my electric shutter has been fully raised. And it's now stuck like this.

I'm trying to work on new stuff for my next convention (Japan Party) at the end of May.

Muscular and rough looking bunny boy taking a cigarette break. He's wearing a red sweat pants over his bunny costume.

Jersey maid boy crouching with a smartphone in hand.

I caved. This is my very first mechanical keyboard. I added shortcuts for Photoshop and CSP. The dials control canvas rotation, brush size and opacity.

I'm coming out of my den to say that I've submitted my application to Y/CON. I'm going back to cleaning to relieve the stress of worrying that I won't be accepted or that I made a mistake while filling out the form at Mach speed.

I kind of want to redo my portfolio. Until now, I've been using this side Tumblr blog with custom domain and a small selection of artworks alyssamonnoyeur.com I like the layout. My only complain is I wish I could make project pages with short text to explain my process, ideas, etc.
