I was wrong earlier. The IRS settlement only eliminates tax investigations and audits of trump’s prior tax returns. It doesn’t prevent review of future tax return filings. Well I guess that’s something.

If a settlement between trump and the IRS stands, his family will only pay taxes they choose to pay because no challenge will be allowed. Yet, the rest of us must follow the tax laws or face legal challenges. What a country! How did we get here?

My memory of what Rep Jamie Raskin said he searched for in the Epstein files were the words Don, Donald and Trump. the search returned over 1 million hits. That doesn’t mean each hit was related to Donald Trump. He is not the only person named Don, Donald or even Trump. Let’s be fair.

It’s time to cut out the middle man with health care. All insurance companies do is spread the risk and take in profits. Having the federal government pay providers directly with universal health care would save us all money.

With the Epstein files back in focus, does anyone really think that the damaging to trump files haven’t been destroyed? We have no count of how many references to trump were found. They could hand over 50 and say all have been provided when there were 5,000 or 4,950 destroyed.

Watching Rachel this evening and the discussion on the reduction in cancer research. Since cancer research was something Joe Biden was devoted to it seems reasonable that the cuts are just to get at him. Trump is that small of a human being. Think about it.

Data centers will need twice as much grid power in 2028 as at the end of 2024. This will only make the Meta and Amazons of the world richer along with the utilities who will pass the costs on to customers. Something needs to change.

Innovations in conservation developed to reduce energy consumption will be lost so that excess consumption can go unrestricted. Drill baby drill is already happening. Energy efficient appliances and light bulbs are a good thing. They reduce our energy bills.
