Here's a couple paths I went down to add texture, and an earlier version of the poster layout also the spiral notebook was a last minute addition bc i saw the merch provider lady arcaders use has a spiral notebook blank and i simply really want a spiral notebook rn :D ty all for the kind words !!

and of course I wanted to add a direct nod to the original script @professorburtch.bsky.social wrote and the core concept of like. people being weird and vocal about when videogames have deeper meanings so the . literal script also worked as great texture for the poster (adapted to fit the design!)

i got stuck in making it work and kept thinking "what would @anarchyasf.com do here" (shoutout @fridayclothing.co !! ) and tried to find an angle (tm) ive always been a fan of the rough edges around videogames and how they reveal the people behind them so why not be literal :)

I figured a great place to start was the little space invaders sprites that have, for whatever reason become tied to videogames ( 👾 ) and i knew i wanted some sort of videogame landscape so i opened up the ol' blender grass field file i made from a tutorial like 5 years ago

i finally visited the Meow Wolf in denver !! it is *such* a goldmine for creative inspiration it's so cool 😭 i have a feeling i am going to be back soon, there's no way you can really take it all in on one visit!

I'm standing, chest up, to the side of the image, lit only by the light that filters through the stained glass that surrounds me, the intricate details of which is visible in the rest of the picture. Deep blues, bright pinks and a little bit of green light adorns the glass and metal structure. Humanoid figures can be seen in the patterns created by the glass.

an immersive art experience which depicts a corner store on an alien planet. Fake stars and advertisements in invented languages fill the upper half of the image, and the bottom half has a stall tucked under a city style awning, and a van adorned with fascinating lights and patterns.

a single wall in a dim room lit up by a handful of light sources: one in the alien organ which accounts for the focus of the right half of the image, with two people standing in front of it. One of them is pulling a lever out of a set arranged in a semicircle, seemingly connected to the organ. Another light illuminates an otherwise blue lit tube with a deep pink; inside the tube is a statue of a human, holding it's hand up, with its head replaced with that of a deer.

A complex arrangement of rocks, ruins, leaves and flowers is suspended within a brightly lit tube - the scale of which becomes obvious as the rest of the image reveals the rest of the room: the tube is one of several supporting columns, in just part of a circular stone room. There's a classical air about the image, but the inscriptions on the stone bench that stretches between the primary column and one of the ones visible in the background of the image has celestial inscriptions on it.
