balloon a vent comic about being a 'gifted kid', gaining a disability, depression, rsd...all of the above as someone who has experienced or just has all of the above.

the first part of a comic. 1 of 3.

the first panel has a purple balloon on it.
it reads:
"i realized recently that i feel like a balloon."
"filled to feel 'lighter than air.'"

the second panel has the purple balloon floating past clouds.
it reads:
"once i was able to fly high with the clouds and the birds."
"and i realize i've been trying to chase that high for a while."

2 / 3

the first panel has a balloon that is close to the pavement.
it reads:
"but really, i've just deflated."
"and have been reluctant friends with the ground for even longer."

the second panel shows a hand with a needle popping the balloon.
it reads:
"these days it feels like i've been popped."

3 / 3

the first panel shows the popped balloon on the ground
it reads:
"i feel like i've embraced the ground i so desperately don't want to be close to."

the second panel shows the burst balloon with tape and glue next to it, but none of it on the balloon.
it reads:
"and i feel like no amount of 'fixing' will help me fly again."

incensed this evening about not being able to draw my characters as much as i wanted, so i did some messy doodles over the last hour... some of my characters from my reimagined project. mollis | primam | tandem | ros #doodles

a messy sketch of a girl who looks like she's kneeling and holding onto a sniper rifle looking to the viewer's left. her hair is flowing in the wind behind her and looks like they're in twin braids. she has a smile on her face with a determined look.

a messy sketch of a woman who has her arms out. her eyes are colored purple with a slight glow. lightning is arcing around her and even running up her arms a bit. her skirt is billowing out, and her hair seems to be blowing to the viewer's left.

a messy drawing of a man leaping in the air, he seems to have two swords readied for attack, but only one of them is really discernible. he is looking toward the viewer's left with a clenched jaw and teeth bared -- there is an angry look on his face.

a drawing of a man with a staff pointed toward the viewer's right. the man is also looking toward the viewer's right while his hair is blowing behind him.

a drawing of a male / female couple. they are holding each other -- the female seems to be standing a bit on her toes.

a drawing of a woman and a white-furred werewolf. the werewolf is holding the woman, and he is covered in blood. he looks worried as she is hugging his snout and pressing her face to his.

8. Fav OC ship Are we talking purely OCs, or canon x OC as well? Because my favorite purely OC ship is Jaydin x Myrddin (Haunted Memories) with @myrdoodles.bsky.social (first art by him as well). Otherwise, it's Primam x Prompto (Quicksilver Dancers), and Nomin x Estinien (Cinnamon).

Doodled for #WoLstinienWeek2024 's Day 3, AU. In which I was watching a lot of Digimon Adventure Tri and drew my FFXIV OTP as Digidestined.

Two teens are depicted with two digimon. There is a girl and a boy. The girl is smiling, standing slightly behind the boy and looking at him. Her skin is a medium tan, her eyes are teal, and her hair is a light blue, long, braided, and the braid is over her right shoulder. The boy is a little taller and has a less amused look on his face, his arms folded over his chest. He is looking at the viewer, has silver hair tied back in a ponytail, has dark gray eyes, and a light complexion. One of the digimon is on the girl's shoulder, it looks like patamon, but is blue and white with feathered wings on its head instead. The other digimon is on the boy's shoulder and looks like agumon, but is a dark purple with red eyes instead of orange with green eyes.

that one meme, but it's the ship that rots my brain

An au ra and an elezen from Final Fantasy XIV are depicted together. The au ra is standing while the elezen is sitting. The au ra is female and is a xaela, her skin is a relatively dark, muted blue, and her hair is long, braided over her shoulder, and is a light blue in color. She is being embraced with one hand by and to the elezen, who is looking up at her from his seated position, his nose and mouth pressed against the side of her ribcage. The elezen is Estinien, and has relatively pale peach skin and silver, long hair. They are both dimly lit in nighttime shading.

a couple of finished bust drawings of two miqo'te from ffxiv. on the left is a female miqo'te looking 3/4 views to the viewer's right toward the male miqo'te on the right. she has a smile on her face, her skin is more on the pale peach spectrum, her eye that is visible a peridot color. her black hair is tied back into a messy, spiky ponytail, and it is dyed with red tips -- her bangs are parted so the left side of her face is covered. she is wearing a bright red blazer over a black dress shirt with a grey tie and has rimless glasses. she is surrounded by green gladiolus flowers. the miqo'te on the right is staring at the miqo'te on the left in a 3/4 angle. he is also smiling. his eyes are an icy blue color, and he has a stubbly five o clock shadow. his hair is medium length and shaggy, a rusty red in color with some bright blond highlights. he is also dressed sharply in a black blazer with a dark grey dress shirt and white tie.

a screenshot of an auri xaela woman and gulool ja at the end of the skydeep cenote before the entrance to the golden city. the au ra is hugging gulool ja tightly to her.

similar to the previous screenshot, but the au ra that is hugging gulool ja is now a child herself.

the shot is focused on the auri, depicted here as her current adult self with a look of sorrow on her face as she hugs gulool ja.

similar to the previous screenshot, but now the auri woman is a child, her head tilted so that her cheek is against gulool ja's head. her eyes are closed, her hands are at the back of gulool ja's head, and she looks on the verge of crying.

a drawing of a couple at a carnival. on the left is a young man holding a plate of funnel cake, his other arm lifted, holding a piece of said funnel cake, and going toward the young woman on the right. the young woman is holding blue cotton candy in one hand, and her other arm is lifted, holding a piece of cotton candy to the other. the young man has pale peach skin and short black hair, his eyes are green, and he has a smile on his face. his shirt is a shortsleeve, blue, and in cursive reads: "Suburb". the young woman has bronze-colored skin, pink hair, and green eyes herself. her hair is about medium length and is tied back in a ponytail held with a green ribbon. she is wearing a pink summer dress from the looks of things, that has a watermelon seed pattern on it. it has a green sash. around her neck is a leather necklace that has maybe a fang or claw dangling from it. she has gold bracelets around her left wrist, and from what can be seen of her right thumb, her nails are painted green. the background is blurred slightly, but they are carnival concessions, and you can see people in the background, too. even though the background is blurred slightly, you can see the words 'FOOD & DRINK', 'NNEL CAKE', 'PIZZA', and 'TTON CA'.
