Just saw someone do a muscle up to a handstand at the top of a squat rack and do handstand pushups. Holy shit!!!!

It has been so chilly in the mornings when I usually walk by so I was imagining pup was staying cozy indoors!

Matthew Rhys, man. I’ve recently watched Widow’s Bay and 6 episodes into The Beast in Me and it’s so fun to watch someone just be so good at what they do

The greatest trick the private insurance industry ever pulled was convincing so many people they would pay less than under a public model. How many corporations out there are cutting costs for the same service merely because competition exists?

What I want to know is who is telling all these political consultants “two concerned women discussing politics in a coffee shop” ads work

Zohran Mamdani is the argument for why people should participate in municipal politics and engage in civic elections because they really do the most to impact our immediate lives in important and sometimes very fun ways.

God loves to test me by putting me in line at a coffee shop behind people who are emotionally unprepared to order in a coffee shop.

The app I log my workouts in for my trainer always has this silly message at the end (like you lifted 34 giraffes!) but this one is by far my fav because I’m delighted by the thought of lifting 241 golden retrievers

Yeah you’re correct on that. I’m actually taking the course with my local’s women’s committee next week. I’m a huge fan of the BC center for women in trades and the work they do!

I’m currently doing the pre work for the Show Up For Safer Workplaces course that covers a lot of this and you are absolutely right that good employer policy/CA entitlements can make traditionally “hard” jobs much safer for everyone.

And they’re still going to have a referendum to separate from Canada

Canada’s residential school history is not the distant past, so much so that the person who founded orange shirt day is still alive to tell the story. We should have deep respect for these survivors and put this story at the forefront of why we even have a National Day For Truth and Reconciliation.

Just had to break up with a municipal candidate at my door “oh I’m so sorry I’m not interested I’ve already committed my vote elsewhere but best of luck with everything” (like running a platform of 0 tax increases and increased funding for the police)

Like do we want workers at these things? Because most of the people I see at these work for unions or are elected officers of unions. They are workers too but why are these events so inaccessible to rank and file members?
