Is there anywhere I can report instagram as a whole for pushing the shittiest sloppiest content that literally means nothing? All those goddamn verified accounts posting 100x a day with literally nothing to say have ruined the app forever. And it keeps pushing those nothings onto everyone!

Replacing anything adobe with open source. So far I've switched from Photoshop to GIMP, Notepad++ instead of Dreamweaver or Brackets, and am installing Davinci Resolve in place of Premiere. I just need to find alternatives to Illustrator and Indesign and I'll be good to ditch adobe forever.

I also found out I have the book both in French and in Portuguese. The bright side is that this one is on public domain so I literally got both copies for free at some point, I just didn't remember that. I do do that, I used to own several copies of The Slum, a classic Brazilian book.

But the book is interesting and right at the first chapter a long-time myth is cleared, that Camellias would be a symbol for prostitutes. They're just flowers. Marguerite, the actual "lady" in the book, is indeed a prostitute who uses white or red camellias to let men know when she has her period.

Last weekend I decided to start reading a classic from the French literature, The Lady of the Camellias. The preface said it has been adapted to cinema quite a few times and I swear I'm scared of ever looking any of these up because you know how Hollywood is, innit?

Playing with a different sim today the same thing happened. He grew before going to work and then I got another notification saying he had grown again. Which means he's so big he looks nothing like how I originally made him.

Another thing: I set my sim's facial hair to not grow and the game ignores that. Not with just one sim, all of them. It seems something is very wrong with anything related to skin details, since it also affects tattoos, skin details in general, scars and medical devices.

Not just the work thing, but he keeps getting "go for a walk" queued up autonomously. I also noticed after he cooks he grabs the whole meal and puts in his inventory instead of just leaving it there. Like I remember making eggs and toast but it wasn't in the fridge. It was in his inventory, spoiled.

Something in my game is really borked. No clue what it could be but I think I might have missed a mod or two that needed updating after the game update. My sim woke up, used the toilet, ate, and then he had "go to work" queued up but he just stood there for hours, missing work altogether.

Now that Sims has an autosave feature, I highly recommend creating a no-mods no-cc save file just to test stuff without mods. If your modded save is autosaved while you're playing you might lose mods' data, specially those that save stuff on their own (eg MCCC)

Had to leave the house today and it’s funny cause Brasil changes completely when there’s a World Cup soccer match. The Brazilian flag was everywhere, streets painted in green and yellow, people throwing coal on the barbie at midday (the match is at 19h). It’s like a holiday over here.
