In my mother's house, there is a picture of my grandfather receiving his diploma and shaking FDR's hand when he graduated from West Point in 1939. I've always loved that picture. I do not think today's graduates will look back on their commencement speaker with similar fondness.

So I filled out my ballot tonight. One of the things I usually do is consult the Tampa Bay Times, using it as a starting point for research, like Wikipedia. Come to find out they decided not to make recommendations for either president or the Florida Senate race. \1
