People have been asking about how loud the boombox bike gets. It’s very directional, but here’s a sample with a decibel meter. This is like 60% loud. If I blast it my neighbors will kill me

Everything works like if the game bike was suddenly real. Cassette door is also a switch 2 dock so when you put the switch in and plug in hdmi to tv, it outputs without external power Specs: * ~65mph * ~70lb * Functioning buttons, speakers, lights, antenna, switch 2 dock * wood, steel, 3d printing

Why do they make blueberry muffins? You grab a muffin thinking oh that's a nice chocolate chip muffin I'm gonna enjoy this then you bite into it and experience the most disappointing core event in your entire life

The trick is to ignore the reservations and walk in at 1AM. Then you can stay until close and chat with him. He even let me hold his knife!

So far on this India trip, my friends and I have had all had diarrhea almost daily. So I built a diarrhea leaderboard app to see who has the highest diarrhea score. It has streaks and combos and syncs all data via DynamoDB

This was a 1.5 month-long effort with long hours of woodworking, printing, coding, concepting, cadding, and everything inbetween. Learned a ton, met and worked with some amazing people. Would do it all over again. Also woodworking is so fking hard holy moly Video soon!

Sophia @myf.one · 02/11/2025

I was the Mario Kart World Moo Moo Meadows cow riding the boombox bike for Halloween! The bike is built from wood using a minibike frame as scaffolding. Everything on the bike works: Speakers play, buttons control play/pause and mode, and the cassette door is actually a Switch 2 dock with video out!

Translucent Switch 2 done! The Joycons were easier to do than I thought, and the results look pretty awesome IMO 😋 “Edited” with the iOS 26 “pause recording” button. Honestly pretty goated feature!
