My favorite Hitchcock leading lady and a legendary talent all around. Talk about living a full substantial life. Rest easy, Eva Marie Saint.

The #AMCScreenUnseen was indeed #SenseAndSensibility and this was a lovely surprise. Not a big Jane Austen guy but I found it to be a warm and tender adaptation gorgeously directed by Georgia Oakley with an incredible ensemble to boot (Esme Creed-Miles is a STAR). Wonderful film.

Sorry y'all but I thought they stuck the landing with the finale. So excited to see John Stewart in Man of Tomorrow. Fantastic season of TV. #Lanterns

This was a delight. Has that cozy small island charm with a bit of a dark edge. The performances from the main trio are all great and is just as funny and it is heartwarming. A bit familiar here and there but overall a lovely good time.

Admire the swings and how meta it gets but it all feels so dragged out and hollow with satire that's not very clover or funny (whether intentional or not). It's well crafted and Cruise gives his all but this is yet another Iñárritu feature I appreciate but left me feeling cold.

Austin Abrams' constant screams and f bombs sound so glorious in IMAX. Movie still rips.

A charming and somewhat surreal dramedy following one woman dancing (literally and figuratively) through her grief. Rinko Kikuchi is terrific and the dance sequences are top notch. Not the most impactful plot and slightly overlong but still a good time.

#Primetime is a scathing and captivating dissection of the mid-2000s media landscape with crisp editing and stylish direction from Lance Oppenheim. Robert Pattinson is incredible as Chris Hanson. Merritt Wever is wonderful and Skyler Gisondo might be the MVP. Big fan of this one.

#ForgottenIsland is another winner from Dreamworks. Full of energy, humor, heartfelt emotion, and gorgeously stylized animation. The themes of friendship and memory truly resonate. Maybe a bit to frenetically paced at times but otherwise it's a wonderful flick.

A tender, poignant, and gorgeously realized look at redemption, connection, and fatherhood. Shades of Black creatives like Barry Jenkins and RaMell Ross are shown. Has familial themes but told through some great dreamlike imagery. Wonderful score too. Seek this one out if you can.

The #AMCScreenUnseen was indeed #HeartOfTheBeast which is an emotionally effective survival drama/friendship tale. Has its predictable beats and some wonky CGI animals but it's still solid and one of David Ayer's better films. Odin is a STAR.

A cautionary tale of technology, humanity, and identity that's far more relevant now than ever (the film takes place just THREE YEARS from now ffs). Loved revisiting it in theaters but I wish I saw this in IMAX for it's such a stunning feat of animation. Breathtaking work.

Another fun and delightful Shaun the Sheep outing. The animation is great as always and I really enjoyed the spooky/autumn vibes. Not the best outing in the franchise but still a charming flick. Perfect watch for the kiddos this Halloween season.

Coming from someone who's never played the games, I had an absolute blast with #ResidentEvil. A gnarly, creepy, intense, and darkly hilarious thrill ride that's also very well-made. Austin Abrams is the perfect lead. 90 minutes of relentless entertainment. Cregger is 3 for 3.

Rock solid old-fashioned dramatic thriller with great performances, handsome production, and some intense moments. Story's a little derivative but I still enjoyed it.

Pretty much my same thoughts like the first film (which aren't very positive) except now much longer and less pleasant to look out. Bullock and Kidman are still a fun pair. Lee Pace also innocent. These movies simply just aren't for me.

Tyler Myers @myersftw.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Pretty entertaining post-apocalyptic sci-fi actioner even if it peaks in its first act. CGI is wonky (probably on purpose) but the production design is neat. Surprisingly funny too. Second half loses steam but the third act is exciting. Ending felt incomplete tho. Is there a Part 2 coming?

Yo why was tonight's #Lanterns funnier than most comedies I've seen recently?

The third act is easily one of the most unhinged things I've seen in an animated film and I'm so glad I got to witness it in IMAX
