Dropped the Lad to an overnight organized Hackathon event an hour ago. Due to COVID and his Crohn's it's his first time ever being away from family overnight. I'm in pieces and trying not to call him.

Starting to think our porch cat (not our cat, but sleeps on a chair on our porch a lot) is hosting Tinder hookups on our porch. Three different cats in the last few days, tonight it's a very handsome black kitty who is a bit scared of me but keeps returning and trying to get Porchy to leave.

Did not have "giant SUV t-boning our tiny Uber" on my bingo card. Ambulance and four hours in ED later Miss 10 and I are home and showered. Miss has a seatbelt bruise on her hip and I have a sore neck and shoulder. Uber driver had some cuts on his neck but will be fine.

My Brickshow build is safely installed at the venue. I was so nervous about the base breaking that once it was in the car I forgot to bring the rest of the build. Another trip home and back and it's all built and intact. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
