My Androgyous Boyfriend by Tamekou is like if no thoughts just vibes was a #manga, in the best way possible. I waited to read a few more in the series before reviewing because I thought something might happen, and well, not really. Again, in the best way possible. #BookSky #BookReview

The manga My Androgynous Boyfriend by Tamekou in front of a cute background. Mya's review main notes are established romance, pretty boys, devoted boyfriend, no stakes just vibes, slice of life, cozy vibes. 4,5 out of 5 stars rating.

How can you ever explain to someone who doesn't get it that your grieving is best done by being overwhelmed with the sound of drums and the loud crying of people tearing the screams out of your own throat? And then soothed by a tree planted because you once asked for shade?

Mya has climbed on a roof to be close to the tree her uncle planted in his backyard when she asked for more shade some 20 something years ago.

On the one hand, I've always wanted to be a mum. On the other hand, the D.I.N.K lifestyle currently has me in a bubble bath in Greece with the Acropolis in the background. Choices choices...

These 2 photos are about 4 hours appart. The first one was me happy to be relaxing after 10 000 steps taken in all the stairs of Meteora. The second one is in an orthopedic er next to Meteora after my knee locked due to the aforementioned 10 000 steps in stairs.

Mya's legs in front of a swimming pool. Keen observers will notice one knee starting to swell

Can you believe this is the amount of hair on my head post haircut, and yet I'm still out there complaining my hair is too short?! I really have the audacity. In my defense 4c hair will shrink like crazy, and it is stretched out for this afro pic.

A faceless Mya showing off her afro. She's wearing forest green sweatpants, a white baby tee shirt and her arms are up to showcase how big her small afro is.
You can also see a comb on her lap.

I've spent most of the week devouring Her Majesty's Royal Coven, by Juno Dawson. You can tell because I got witchy nails, and reviewed it on #Storygraph : app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/d5fe... #BookSky 🌈📚

Mya's new set of nails! She's wearing her nails short, with a nudes base and dainty black witchy details. There's a tiny sparkly snake going across two of her nails, an eye and lots of graphic details and stars.

While smedium box braids in 1B will always have my heart, it's fun to experiment around, and to see which characters get unlocked with new hairstyles.

Mya's back in an orchard. You can see a cascade of long blonde and redish French curls braids down her back. She's wearing a red beret, a red dress and black top. She's got a tote bag full of apples she just picked.

The back of Mya's head as she's peering down a tropical pond, wondering if she should finally give up and become a Mami Watta. Her black box braids are gathered in a bun and she's wearing a jeans jacket

Really cool shells and such! Saw this one in Australia, and I just had to snap a picture before putting it back. Doesn't it look like it'd hear the bustling of a city if it wear it listen inside of me?

Me: I don't get gifts as a love language Still me: The spirit of Christmas is getting lost in aesthetics and capitalism green Also me: It's not called "buying the love of my nibblings" I just take this long distance favorite auntie thing seriously!

A pile of Christmas presents wrapped in brown, green and red paper are strewn around an old jukebox. There's a big white teddy bear guarding them, it's wearing a red Santa hat.
The scene is warmly lit up with Christmas lights.

Also, according to Google Trends, this band was irrelevant prior to this. I hate that the outrage against them is actually giving them clout! (hence me erasing their name and song titles) Anyways, done ranting about this, will go back to my joy activism and forget about these disgusting beings.
