Apparently it also has a thermometer, so I can measure my floor at the right temperature and tidal influence

Bought a new set of kitchen scales and you have to set the time before you can use them I'm very disappointed they aren't web enabled with an app and AI built in

Nah, the fingers thing does nothing on android other than move the picture around

John Peabody-Brown @my53rdchoice.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

There was a button with arrows in circle. It made sense and was obvious I'll try the rotate and fingers thing

110

John Peabody-Brown @my53rdchoice.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

What the hell happened to the rotate function under edit on Instagram? Why the fuck can't these tech people just leave their shit alone?

Odd This Day @oddthisday.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

It was, if the spirit of Iain Banks will forgive me, the day the pope exploded. Well, to be strictly accurate, today is the 68th anniversary of the day a botched embalming saw Pius XII’s rotting torso break open while he was lying in state. (Yes, sorry. This thread is absolutely disgusting)

Papal Swiss guards in costumes – and especially helmets – that could have come from the 1980 Flash Gordon film, flanking the dead body of Pope Pius XII in a big, posh room in a palace in Rome

Web based Copilot just me made jump through loads of hoops to keep using it but even after all that everytime I click ask a question it opens the play store and tells me to download the app Guess I'm never using Copilot ever again

I'm not sure facebooks advertising profile for me is entirely accurate if they think I have any interest in this But then again, they are probably just ripping off the company as most online advertising is a scam

Private pet jets can fuck right off.

Even if I wasn't broke its a fucking abomination of an idea

My daughter has a black eye on her passport photo. She'd been putting off getting the photo for ages and to make sure it happened she put it in her diary with a date to do it. Fell over the day before and so she's got 10 years of shiner

It's alright, bit cheesy and drags a bit but worth watching once We could do with starting back on it as it's been a while since we ticked a film off

The feedback? I don't mind it but I listen to a lot of random noise stuff. I remember discovering the Boredoms in the 90s and being blown away by their energy Anyway the lead singer of the sound has such a sad story. But I could listen to their stuff all day.

Don't normally cross post or post twice on daily themes to try and avoid spamming But I felt this was worth it as this band doesn't get enough love and attention youtu.be/YQD0KcvQy8E?...

I know right It's like America is starting down the road to the hunger games Capital punishment in all forms is barbaric but to show it off and encourage people to watch it is literally medieval America is ruled by the dumbest greediest and most evil of people

Had a final destination moment on Friday but wasn't able to get it off the dashcam Driving along a 60mph road in heavy rain and the dark. Oncoming truck minding his own business and then a car coming head on, on the wrong side of the road. Just managed to swerve to the left at the last moment

Definitely generational, my dad has the same pocket knife thing going on I suspect knives in Airbnb's are cheap and poorly looked after and the owners don't use them so don't notice they're blunt

My samsung phone and watch are doing weird stuff. The watch has lost its connection to the phone The phone keeps complaining about the google store Frankly modern technology is just crap and I expect it to get worse because tech firms are demanding constant change and its going to be ai designed
