went to change a lightbulb on my apartment and encountered this?? what is this. how is a girl supposed to change this? im even somewhat electrically literate - can see a capacitor and a transistor and a resistor and the power and ground wires but i couldn’t tell u how to replace this panel

this lady in my local area called the cops on a car wash to get her money back - look at this incredible post

A post from Nextdoor dot com that reads “Today I was at the [redacted] right at the corner of the [redacted], paid $18 for a carwash which left my car still dirty. Went to complain 2 the manager - he was not mice [sic] at all and entitled, basically told me I could not feel emotion & get upset. I called the cops, they went inside & I got my $18 back. Will never go there again. The car wash does not work well. If you can’t treat your customers right then i don’t deal with your business.”

miss-I-hate-my-hairline just went 24 hours without wearing a hat or covering my hairline at all. wasn’t a recluse either - i went to a fancy restaurant and shopped at a store!

Phoebe just booped the dehumidifier power button with her nose turning it off, then booped it again turning it back on. So proud. 🥲 Anyways we’re going to the vet today to get those lumps checked out - wish us well 👩‍⚕️

Can't make polls on here so for your consideration: 2004-2007 Chevy Malibu 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber 2007-2008 Chrysler Sebring Hardtop Convertible 2005 Chevy SSR (I included it anyways bc I can't believe they pulled off retrofuturism worse than the PT Cruiser, but they did.)

if you're reading this and it's cuz you are visually impaired, count yourself lucky. you never have to see a 2007 Chrysler Hardtop Convertible with your own eyes. Yours is a bliss that I would sacrifice everything for.

Chevy SSR Hardtop Convertible. It's hard to make an iconic design look passion-less, and yet. Looks like it was designed by a committee of American Baby Boomers held at gunpoint where the first who submits a design will be spared

recently acquired a reliable, surprisingly low-mileage car. I am incredibly grateful for it. It is also objectively the ugliest car I can think of (yes, worse than Aztec, Cube, Multipla, PT Cruiser, Chevy SS cuz at least they were all trying something interesting) - the 2004 Chevy Malibu sedan

a car that looks like how a toddler in the USA would draw a sedan - three box styling at its worst with no cohesion or flow. Like if you had five bricks to make a LEGO car but all of those bricks had melted a bit
