iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Even unique vintage is using AI slop for t-shirt graphics. We are truly in hell.

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

We are put in situations that deliberately make us miserable and uncomfortable to try to pull the last pennies from our blood. What exactly do they think is going to happen next? An old lady is going to park her cart across a whole isle one day and accidentally kick off the fall of man.

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I know the phenomenon has been talked about to death but I just can’t imagine this being a sustainable world. Our only point to existing seems to be to buy things from wealthy people and we are running out of money and water, and comfort

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

And TikTok feels the same. Create a something the people love than make it a corpse your trapped in surrounded by TikTok shop ads. Since you’re stuck there, you buy more stuff anyway so it behooves the company to just keep making the experience more miserable

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

But this terrible experience, filling a cart with outrageously priced items shovels more money into the pockets of higher ups so it’s the optimal system. Never mind that a rage virus is going to take hold in a Walmart isle one day and turn the place into a meat grinder.

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

The aisles are also filled with the online shopping carts or insta cart people and I full on end up getting trapped in places. I was in the produce section, arguably one of the most open, and I got trapped in the center of the produce bins.

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

It feels designed to make me frustrated and get fatigued and just throw whatever in the cart and leave, settling on something more expensive or sub par. I can't even keep my list organized because nothing I need is even near each other anymore.

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I know I am fully entering my old person era because I am constantly wondering how everything got so bad. The have been rearranging all the grocery stores near me. And the new arrangements make the place harder to navigate and things aren’t kept in an organizational way that makes sense.

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Riddle me this internet: I find myself scrolling TikTok more now desperately looking for something I actually want to see than I did when I was actually having a good time watching things I enjoyed that were readily available on the FYP. Is that the point?

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

How do I word this email explaining that I am going to be late because I stayed up too late world building vampire lore?

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Ours has a seed library, a free online portal to read any comic you want and they gave me a big yard sign so I can tell everyone I love my library. And they have adult summer reading. If I get a personal pizza out of this, this trash fire of a time may just be worth it

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Every time I go to our local library they have a new free thing for people and it’s the best. I love libraries so much and people that don’t love them are my enemies.

Hey all, I am currently looking for some more avenues to gain some coverage on my latest anthology! If you have any directions to suggest or a podcast that needs a guest to talk about cool comic art stuff, let me know!

If you worked for 40 hours a week at $20 an hour but never had to spend any of that money, and it just got put in the bank, it would take you 24,039 years to become a billionaire

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

At one time I knew 900 film majors and I am so sad everyone grew up to be normal people because I need someone to help me make commercials and I call and they are like “I am an ultrasound tech now”

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

I got to do a goofy interview with one of my friends to talk about this cover and building out this anthology and it would be super cool if you checked it out and followed our kickstarter because I am….very stressed

Do I make people quit? Do I bring such chaos energy into a space that people just change the direction of their lives because I asked about holographic print options?

010

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Turn over seems to be so high, I am never even talking to the same people. At three different companies I ended up talking to 3 different reps each and each one has to start the quote or job over again and it is never the same

110

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

I don’t understand how everything has gotten so complicated to do. The last time I printed comics it’s was so straight forward. I didn’t even have to talk to a person and now everything is so convoluted I feel insane.

110

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

The best (lamest) part of being a comic artist is working for months on something and you can’t post anything about it so it looks like you’re just sitting around

010

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

In the following days, after being called out, the sub could not continue to suppress the comments without looking bad, I believe this is a microcosm of the macrocosm. Even in MAGA there was not a way to defend it especially with Jan 6 and Kyle Rittenhouse right there.

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

R/conservative had a post full of criticism of the shooting when it happened, but when i checked again several hours later all those comments were removed

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

I think this didn’t happen. I think this is a fully made up thing because they lost some the base. 2a defenders would not accept it as it stood. The conservative spaces were full of critical comments saying they needed to accept responsibility and defend the 2a

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

There is no official video of the incident like body cam, Pretti was not formally charged with anything and there is no official report of the incident

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

The reporting also went around TikTok saying CNN reported it so it must be real.

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

Today, someone started posting to those same subreddits that they were wrong and the video was real because they saw another angle of it. Different users corroborated that they saw the video too and it was read. No one posted that other video though

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

In the video, Alex movements were strange, being able to kick a car hard enough to take a huge chunk out of it seemed unlikely, the piece that flew off disappeared into thin air, a logo disappeared off the car, lots of hallmarks of an AI video

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

Soon after, Donald Trump JR posted a video of the event. The video went around a lot of subreddits asking if it was AI, and the response was a resounding “yes”

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

So if i continue to post about current events, I understand that people and collaborators may want to put distance between themselves and me and I accept that.

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Yeah that is hard to see. I never get any traffic at all for my content and at this point it’s not worth my time to heavily invest in content creation. And then to be like “let’s draw a cute cat” while the world is crumbling feels awful.

110

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

With his whole chest, all the words, said mass deportations, detention centers and prosecuting political enemies BOTH TIMES. And ya’ll said that wasn’t real and he was just gabbing. -You- did this by deciding on your own that he just wasn’t going to do that. Get out of here with the tears, babe.

000

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Oooof! Side quest: lady that posted that is a now former trump supporter (maybe why she was in my new feed of conservative videos) but said that he ran on being the candidate of every man and she wants to get back to that….BITCH HIS PLATFORM FULLY SPELLED OUT MASS DEPORTATIONS AND DETENTION CENTERS

100

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

The powers that be came it -hard- with misinformation yesterday and were immediately shut down but continue to double down so I am curious if it’s going to be business as usual or if this is an ‘intelligent’ action vs a happen stance

110

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Yeah at this point there isn’t really a way to collect all the data to see what’s happening until after the fact or compare to what is happening later. People talk about suppression all the time but I usually end up in the same spot or pretty close.

110

Celes @mxartsypants.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

This doesn’t mean that is -actually- what is happening. It’s not a big enough sample size for me to make a judgement definitively but I am just trying to document what I am seeing as it’s happening
