I got my second @romancingthevote.com package today. So cute, my plushie bee came with their own set of flowers and bonus stickers!
A bee plushie among silk flowed on top of a box with stickers and a postcard in front of it

Eeeeee! Got my first @romancingthevote.com package. The only thing I actually bid on (all the rest are buy it now purchases), and I got it for a steal. So pretty and it came with three different colored cords to use.
A glass pendant in trans flag colors with gold speckles on it in a box next to a card with herbs on it.

I can go with this. Though I am far from a luddite, I am opposite of a techbro (also, I had to do some techy stuff to get that graphic on here 😂)
My results for the Britmonkey 2020s Political Compass quiz: 88% Woke/12% Chud, 33% Techbro/67% Neo-Luddite, 56% Hopepilled/44% Doomer, 91% Davos/9% Dubai with my closest match being Zohran Mamdani, Mayor of New York City (2026-present)

This. Not that we need to spend the whole time in distress, but it's also perfectly appropriate not to be ok
Marcie Rendon says THIS a thousand times over about a quote from Devin Ashley Brown: Unpopular opinion: Trying to calm your nervous system in a dystopian nightmare teaches it not to trust you. Things are unstable. Harm is real. Collapse is not hypothetical. Your nervous system isn't broken -- it's responding accurately. Forcing calm in the face of danger isn't regulation. It's compliance. It's asking your body to lie so other people stay comfortable. Drink water. Sleep when you can. Take care of the vessel. But stop using wellness language to sedate your instincts. Your nervous system doesn't need to be "regulated". It needs to be listened to. Anger can be appropriate. Grief can be intelligent. Refusal can be sane. The moment doesn't call for artificial peace. It calls for clarity, capacity, and consent. Accuracy over calm. Every time.
