thunderbird is one of my least favorite venues, and their absurd security theater is definitely a big part of the reason.

ok, I managed to get most of the stuff back via searching "Bandcamp" in browser history, opening all 114 tabs (wow did my laptop get hot), tabbing through them, figuring out what i meant to buy (hopefully), getting lucky that checkout didn't fail again... made it with 12 minutes to spare.

I do use BES and I did export my cart as I always do (due to the aforementioned bugs), but it didn't import properly and I'm not sure I'll be able to properly reconstitute my cart in the next 66 minutes. chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bandc...

I've been hesitant to urge artists to move off of b*camp because I know it's still a vital source of income. But, they just robbed you of $400+ when the buggy AF checkout process nuked my cart. Once upon a time they employed engineers who were committed to fixing those bugs.

ok.. i just listened to YKWIM and cinderblocks but i *guess* i can do one more... seriously, I've been listening to the album pretty much every day since seeing you play (which is a thing that often happens to me) and love it more than ever. your melodies are so engrossing and beautiful 🤩

First time in Barcelona ❤️ I'm going to Primavera which is my 3rd music festival in under a month (and there's one more on the docket). So, I guess I'm a festival kid now.

A view of the street from the balcony of my apartment in Barcelona. Several 4-5 story buildings are visible, and a blue sky with some wispy clouds

love it ❤️ i dyed my hair blue in 2020 figuring no one would really see me and I could just shave it off if I didn't like it... alas, I've met so many people in the past few years and none of them would recognize me if I ever stopped.. not that i'm complaining, I love it.

my depression was completely untreated until i was 18, but the meds didn't agree with me and i didn't get treatment again until age 25. i recall a lot of sitting in my bedroom, alone with my knife, thinking dark thoughts. so if writing these helped me survive, i guess it's ultimately a good thing.

holy shit i just unearthed this folder full of songs/poems i wrote when i was a teenager and mostly have no recollection of but i'm gradually convincing myself they're mine (and not an old roomate's). lots of songs about cutting/hurting myself - i'm not sure if it was good for me to see those.
