Ooh yes the Scorn - Anamnesis reissue on GOD Records is truly hitting all the right notes at the moment. Anything remotely resembling the early days of Scorn, especially Zander, is just great listening. The pressing is immaculate too. Order your copy here: godrec.com/god80.html

First listen to #Inferno today, and I have to admit this is my favourite Boards of Canada album to date. It’s a nostalgic listen of an album about nostalgia, in the midst of apocalyptic levels of chronic cognitive biases, hedonistic presentism, and conspiratorially flavored hyper-stimulation.

Characteristics that define our hyper-real age; Neo-tribalism, emotive reasoning, chronic cognitive biases, unearned self-righteousness, hedonistic presentism, rapid onset amnesia, black & white thinking, conspiratorially flavored assumptions, addiction to hyper-stimulation, bad attitudes.

I'm quite late to the party, but I've really been enjoying the entire discography of the Chicago-based Kino Disk label. RIYL Sa Pa, Mammo, Chain Reaction, Peak Oil or 'pearlescent gauzy dub techno corrosions' in Boomkat-speak. Highest possible recommendations! kinodisk.bandcamp.com/music

Great news for everyone who's into deconstructed dub techno. I've been a fan of Sa Pa's work since I stumbled upon his debut on Forum, years ago. I'm therefore happy to read this new release "has often been grouped conceptually as a follow up to his FORUM debut" 🤗 sa-pa.bandcamp.com/album/ambeesh

I've finally managed to take the time to dive into Toshiya Tsunoda & Taku Unami's field recording project known as 'Wovenland'. There are currently 3 Wovenland releases from 2018, 2020, and 2024. Anyone into #fieldrecordings should dedicate some attention to this outstanding collaboration. [1/9]

Now playing: Roland Kayn – Kybernetische Musik II. Slowly enveloping and haunting drone meanderings, carefully seeking new ways to intertwine and configure. Almost went full Boomkat there. Never go full Boomkat. In short - good stuff. www.discogs.com/release/8876...
