A drawing made in ink (copic markers) on this, the 9th day of October. Just having been made aware of some backlash against the current #Inktober regime I feel no guilt in drawing what I please and simply using the hashtag as it satisfies the conditions mentioned in my prior sentence.

A gray marker rendering of 2 versions of a right of hand in the same loose grip position with the index finger extended slightly. One with the palm facing upward, one with the palm facing downward. Imagine a very competent version of this, now think of it as 30% sloppier and more distorted and that's what we have here.

Plugging away at botanical rendering

A loose painting of a cactus that the artist neglected to identify in a cactus hot house at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The cactus is really cool because it it fans outward and spirals all the way to the base. Foreground: color watercolor sketch. Midground- the actual cactus being painted, next to small a lighter green cactus that largely resembles a penis. Background: outside the window, the artist's friend Jaycee is walking, framed by the subject cactus and the penis cactus.
