If I didn’t already have three stoles/wraps I’d be so tempted with that! Or the muted Stewart. 😁💙🤍

This is an important read. If you are, or someone you know is,looking to add a dog to their family, please share. Whether it’s a rescue or breeder, PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH! Ask questions. Make sure the source is reputable and ethical. Don’t fall for cute pictures. And don’t wait until the holidays!

I have no love for ankle-biters and even less for owners who refuse to treat them as dogs that benefit from training and manners instead of accessories.

Unfortunately yes. And our red squirrels (minus those adorable ear tufts) aren’t as common anymore either. Not sure if the greys are to blame for their decline. We’ve had more than our share of invasive flora and fauna from the Old World pushing in. Care for a European Starling or million?

Wellllll, I thought we had a fair symbiotic relationship with said critters. They get a nice place to live peacefully (occasional predators not withstanding), loads of acorns and hickories to fill their pantries, I even put out water for them in hot weather. Too much to ask for a smile sometimes? 🙃

Seems our local squirrels object to being surveilled. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Haven’t done TCM for myself but we see a TCM vet for Scarlett. Maybe she should start a side hustle for her animal clients. 😂

Sometimes people get too caught up in their ethics and ignore the biology of their pets. The pet food companies aren’t helping marketing to this demographic. Vets are the last group of people I usually take advice from on animal nutrition since they promote foods that aren’t exactly ideal. 😤

Today is #WorldAnimalDay - an international day of action that aims to help improve animal welfare standards through increased awareness and education. Animal welfare depends in part on veterinary professionals, and we're proud to help protect that across the globe. 🌎🌍

Totally agree! Cats are obligate carnivores. And contrary to popular belief, dogs are also carnivores, not omnivores/vegetarians and absolutely not vegans or insectivores. Huge pet peeve for me.

I’ve done the aversive approach and a combo. I long ago realized that wasn’t how I wanted to train my dogs. Actually took longer to get results. You can still have structure without being bossy. Trust, respect and giving the dog choices. Finding a trainer that believes in the same will be A+!

Mom has packed all of our bandana’s so we will be wearing these until she can find which box they are packed it. We thought these were good ones because October is National Pitbull awareness month. We love to advocate for our breed. There is so much misinformation out there. #pitbullawareness

Bench in Wigtown, Scotland's Book Town. I strongly believe this - that a book remains part of an ongoing creative process once it has come into the hands of its reader.

Bench in Wigtown, black painted iron work with "A writer only begins a book - a reader finishes it" , "Reading is a conversation - all books talk, but a good book listens as well", "A book is a gift you can open again and again" and "There is no friend as loysl ad a book", all written on in white paint.
