I’ve been playing around with False Hope’s video settings, and I really like the low-res 4:3 look with a lower render scale. It gives the game a nice retro feel. This might be my favorite way to play it. #Horror #indiedev

I was ready to call it a day and get some rest but I decided to do one more test. This happened. I was ready to throw my computer out the window because I thought the game camera was broken. A few seconds later I realized I had 3x zoom in the editor. Everything is fine. #indiedev #horror

I’ve been a little stressed while waiting for Steam to review our demo build. Yesterday, we got the answer: “False Hope Demo has been reviewed and no blocking issues were encountered.” Approved on the first try. Now the real work begins: polishing the demo for release. #gameDev #gamedev

We don't have the budget for voice acting and we don't want AI voices in the final game. So why not add mod support? If someone wants to voice our cutscenes they can add their own! Just add files with the correct names to a folder and the cutscene plays them. #gamedev #indiedev

Okay, I made something pretty cool. I created my own Unity editor tool for quick scene access, added search to open any scene, and made custom shortcuts that open the window right under my mouse. Minimal movement to change scenes. #indiedev #gamedev

I’ve never liked making builds manually in Unity. So I finally learned CI last weekend. It was surprisingly easy. Every git push now triggers a build + nightly builds. Now I can always show and share my progress. I think people should talk more about this. #gamedev #indiedev
