Been really enjoying going back to this one. Amazing album, bristling with weird witchy vibes. Dr John - Gris Gris play.qobuz.com/album/060349...

Shout out to people who know money is tight for independent artists, and who offer super affordable rates. I would never ask someone for a reduced rate (I like to pay for work done & I like to be paid in turn for mine) but it is amazingly helpful. Thank you. 🖤

Been digging in to music blogs. A simple way to circumvent a deeply repetitive algorithm. This one's well worth your time: Infinity Knives. Love the new single 'Sometimes' and the '22 album King Cobra. open.spotify.com/album/7BAcFn... Credit to @hearingthingsco.bsky.social

Missed this on release day but the ever-squonky KEG released Skybather and it’s full of their unique brand of misfit grandeur. Whatever that means. Out on the magnificent @ilovealcopop.bsky.social open.spotify.com/track/4exWkf...

Muthi (‘moo-tee’), from the Zulu word ‘umuthi’ which can mean ‘tree’ but also refers to medicine, usually traditional medicine as practiced by a sangoma or what you might think of as a shaman.
