As the host of #MuslimPit, here is a little bit about me: my name is Ayishah, and I recently completed my degree in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing. Though I love British classics, fairy tales, and folklore, my favourite stories ever are the Thousand and One Nights.

I was thinking about starting a pitch event for Muslim writers? It could centralize Muslim stories in any genre (SFF, contemporary, etc.) as well as uplift the voices of those who might come from Muslim countries that are traditionally underrepresented in literature. Thoughts #WritingCommunity 🤔😃?
