I tried that with an old macro lens I was gifted to get me started. Far too hard! The pro fungi shooters can get up to 250 shots . Synch with flash and stack in helicon. I am not in that league!

Thank you. My camera has a focus shift setting. I can focus just in front of the mushroom then it will take 20 images shifting the focus each time. I process in lightroom then open in photoshop in layers and stack them. They go back to lightroom as a tiff.

Gathered yesterday before the rain arrived today. I have found a new spot to pose my flowers for the camera

A glass vase balanced on a painted wooden stool which has seen better days. The vase contains 4 rose blooms. Berry, Champagne, Sunset and Fond Memory. Cerise, cream orange and pink. Surprisingly this eclectic mix sit well together. The light on an outside covered deck and the sunshade blind behind the vase combine to show off the blooms nicely. The focus is sharp and the colours bright and true.
