New Stream new Miis!!! Finally have my wheel of names categories equalized. Some of these were pretty hard to make happen. Belle was surprisingly hard. #TomodachiLife #Ghostbusters #OnePiece #FFXIV #DisneyPrincesses

I had to a take a census of my plans. I went ahead and made enough of some mii groups so all my wheel categories all have the same count going forward. So last night's stream was a bit of a Princess-Palooza. With one little chaos gremlin thrown in. #TomodachiLife #DisneyPrincesses #FFXIV

Another stream done, a new set of Miis bringing my island to 31. I keep each character a mystery so viewers can guess. I was so happy that when he was guessed I could say "This is Thancred!" #TomodachiLife #DisneyPrincesses #Nintendo #OnePiece #LordOfTheRings #FFXIV

And same as with the FFXIV twins, I rolled Pearl and couldn't not have Marina. This brings me up to date with where I am. But I'll keep adding to the post after each stream with my additions. #TomodachiLife #Splatoon #Ghostbusters #OnePiece

If I had follow my normal "rules" for making characters (make one when the island levels up), then I'd have only gotten three miis this stream. BUT, when the wheel rolled Alphinaud, I felt Alisaie was an absolute requirement to make immediately after. #TomodachiLife #OnePiece #Nintendo #FFXIV

By this point I was really pre-planning who was going to be on the island by compiling birthdays, planning each characters personality in advance. That way things were expedited when I was making characters. #TomodachiLife #DisneyPrincesses #KingdomHearts #LordOfTheRings

murfGUY @murfguy.com · 15/05/2026

At this point I introduced a random wheel that helps me decide who to make. I'll drop a whole group when we add a character so we keep things varied as things go on. #TomodachiLife #DisneyPrincesses #OnePiece #FinalFantasyVII #FFXIV

Stream 2 rounds out the groups I came up with to add with Lord of the Rings and "Misc. Games". Despite some good looking additions later, I think Madeline remains my favorite addition to the island so far. #TomodachiLife #LordOfTheRings #IndieGames #Celete #Ghostbusters

I finally managed to compile an collection of my Tomodachi Miis that I've made per each stream. I wanted my island to be an odd mix of fandoms. So #DisneyPrincesses, #Ghostbusters, #FFXIV, #Nintendo and #OnePiece first came to mind. Here's Stream 1's additions to the island. #TomodachiLife

Been having a blast playing Tomodachi Life on stream with my hodge-podge of fandoms on what I call "Murfandom Island". So I've pre-plotted what characters I want, but I like to leave SOME mystery for my viewers. But here's who I have so far.

And for another new one, my kiddo loves mimicking the Owen Wilson wow meme. So I had to add randomized wows!

One of the things I’ve always loved working on for my streams is dumb stuff for my overlay that viewers can trigger. One of my newer additions are Silksong fleas. And this week, redeeming the Flea reward has a random chance for Big Flea to appear.

Fun stream setup update! Got a ceiling mounted curtain track and hung a green screen from it. So now I have much more coverage than my old Elgato standing screen, and it stores away nice and easy against the wall.

For years I’ve been wrapping gifts. And I’ve been close to having a perfect loop, and sad every time. Today, the dream basically achieved. It’s a smidge off, but otherwise phenomenal!

All my #FFXIV ARR crafting achievements are complete! Look at them all! (I finished Blacksmith earlier.) My poor inventory is drowning in all this stuff.

OH! Nice surprise! I've cracked the top 1,000 achievement rank for Excalibur on Lalachievements!

A bit more of a showcase on the attenuator and how it works in conjunction with the neutrona wand.

Love getting new #ghostbusters gear! Got a new bit of kit originally designed by @asavage.bsky.social and remade by the community: the Attenuator! This integrates with my other mod kit and lets me access controls more easily since it hangs on the pack straps.

More #FFXIV shenanigans! Got my WAR to Lv. 99, which means new job armor, and I really love the vibe on the Dawntrail iteration for Warrior.

Amidst chaos, find joy and do good. For me, this is both. I go to events for Ghostbusters, Virginia and we raise funds and do work for charitable causes. This weekend, we were at Totally Rad Vintage Fest in Richmond. Was good time!

For all my #FFXIV dorks: Months in the making, I've completed EVERY crafting levequest. All of them. Even the Heavensward Large-Scale ones. The last five for each weren't needed for achievements, but I did them anyway. I plan to 100% them all. By my estimates, I'll be done in June this year.

After delays galore through Chicago USPS distribution centers, my #ghostbusters parka finally arrived just in time for the frigid weather.

Who needs endgame raids in #ffxiv when you have endgame fishing? Finally took care of this nonsense years after the fact, but still was an insane effort of fighting RNG and understanding fishing mechanics. Also, the Namitaro can go florp itself.

I have made what feels pretty close to theater grade popcorn at home. Looks the part. Tastes it pretty well too. I worked at a theater as a teen from about 99-02. I’ve never been able to eat microwave popcorn since. So this is great.

Small update to my #protonpack! Got some reflective caution tape go on the cyclotron bumper. Adds a nice visual splash to the lower part of the pack. #ghostbusters

Considering I’d been absent from BlueSky prior to… certain events… figured I’d do some backlog posting! In May I joined my regional #Ghostbusters team: GB, Virginia! In October, I’d attended enough events to get my official team patch! Looking forward to more events in 2025!

Look, I’ll admit that lightsabers are THE PROP. The most iconic and recognizable. I have several. They’re great. But #ghostbusters gear? It hits different. It’s not as iconic, but goddamn if they aren’t my favorites. So excited to grow my gear with this new trap and PKE meter. They are dope.

Saturday night is Family Movie Night at our place. This week was Kiddo’s pick. After having watched Tremors recently, he ended up picking one of my all time favorites. #Jaws I was a bit worried he’d be bored with some parts, or freaked out a bit by the shark stuff, but he loved the whole thing!

Took a nice little family down to #BuschGardens for #Christmastown. Coasters were down due the cold weather, but it was still a fun time all-around.

I know these last five large-scale crafting leves aren't needed for any current achievements. But I'm doing them anyway. Especially considering the achievements for Dawntrail went from needing five of them to ten. This way I'm not caught off guard come next expac. #ffxiv
